Has been in good form over his last three starts, with two wins and a second place finish. His last success was over this C&D where he justified going off as the 11/4 favourite to score by a neck in a six runner field. Has gone up 2lb. Big player.
His last success came on the AW at Kempton (6f) in November 2018. Has struggled for form since then, including on his latest attempt at this course (7f) when he was sixth of 11. Has been eased 3lb but others are preferred.
Without a win since the second start of his career but has been running well recently. He was third of five over this C&D just seven days ago. Down to a new career low mark where he must be respected from. One for the shortlist.
A six-time C&D winner who often produces his best form at this course. His last victory came here back in November. Came home at the rear of six runner earlier this month. Needs to bounce back but can't be ignored here.
His sole success came at Wolverhampton (7f) in January 2018. Ran well last time out on his opening start for his new yard when he was second of 14 at Newcastle, ¾L off the winner. Has gone up 4lb for that near miss. One to consider.
All three of his wins have come on the AW, including when he scored at Kempton over this distance back in September. Was a long way off on his latest attempt at Kempton (1m) back in November. Others appeal more.
Prevailed over this C&D in December 2018. Ran well two starts back at Southwell (7f), finishing second of six, while he came back fourth of nine last time at this course (7f). Remains off the same mark. Worth consideration.
