Horse A-Z
Daughter of Teofilo out of a Pivotal mare. Cost £2,000 as a four-year-old. Dismal effort son first couple of bumper starts and may find this a tough assignment.
Gold Well mare, scored first time out in mares' maiden point-to-point on debut 12 months ago. Promising bumper debut at Tipperary when last seen in May but more needed here.
Winged Love mare. Sister to fair 2m5f hurdle winner Loveherandleaveher. Ninth of 10 beaten 144L on debut behind Easywork on debut in a Down Royal bumper when last seen in November.
Daughter of Gold Well out of a Flemensfirth mare. Dam unraced half-sister to Cobblers Queen, 2m4f/3m hurdle chase winner. Ran with credit in a Limerick bumper on debut over Christmas. Worth a check in the market.
Newcomer by Califet a half-sister to bumper/high-class 2m hurdle winner My Tent Or Yours. Sixth of 11 beaten 23L on sole bumper start so far at Naas last month. Likely to improve on that effort here.
Daughter of Yeats out of a Bob Back mare. Cost £55,000 as a three-year-old. Mixed bag of efforts in three bumper starts to date. Capable of a big run for leading yard.
Daughter of Shirocco. Dam was a poor race mare, but is a half-sister to a couple of fairly useful bumper performers. Running with credit in a couple of starts since November and may well improve for first-time hood.
Daughter of Shirocco out of an Accordion mare. 7/1 fourth of 14 beaten over 8L in a Limerick 2m bumper in November. Worth noting Patrick Mullins rides the yards other runner.
Daughter of Presenting out of a Insan mare. Half-sister to Crown Of Gold and useful hurdler and chaser Killultagh Queen. Yard going well.
Daughter of Fame and Glory out of a Good Thyne mare. Cost €5,000 as a three-year-old. Half-sister to Roving Lad winner over hurdles at 2m2f and 2m5f. Market likely to reveal expectations on debut.

Forecasts

Dreamingandhoping (13/8), Killultagh Bella (5/2), Beth Horan (11/2), Dysart Diamond (11/2), Nell's Well (12/1), Annie Kate (14/1), Razzle Dazzle Love (20/1), Mollys Glory (33/1), Sacred Spring (33/1), Game Bird (100/1)

Verdict

The Willie Mullins-trained KILLULTAGH BELLA is closely related to solid and consistent winning hurdler Crown Of Gold and can get off the mark in the closing bumper on debut. The daughter of Presenting could turn out to be smart under jockey Patrick Mullins ahead of the likes of the experienced Dreamingandhoping assisted by first-time hood and the Gordon Elliott-trained Beth Horan who will be having her fourth bumper start.
  1. Killultagh Bella
  2. Dreamingandhoping
  3. Beth Horan
