Multiple winner (twice over fences) at up to 3m, and acts on testing ground. Hasn't won since December 2017, but now on a handy mark as a result. Yet to get back to his best in two runs this autumn, but a danger to all if he can do so.
Interesting runner who has won three times in Ireland at up to 2m3f. Acts on soft, and returns to this sphere after two cross-country races over further. Likely to be very competitive from this mark. Player.
Loves this venue, as his five wins from seven starts here testify. Brought down when going well over further back here last time, and although it's a while since he won, he can't be discounted from this mark.
Made all to win at Ayr (2m4f, soft) in November and was best of four in a pedestrian gallop at Bangor (heavy) when upped to 3m last time. Has to prove that was no fluke, but could still be well in here if taking it at face value, and not ruled out.
Scored twice over hurdles at up to 2m3f. Yet to win from eight attempts over fences, and his best run (here) was over shorter than this, so still has a fair bit to prove.
9lb higher than when last winning at Catterick (3m1f) last February, and although he ran well on his penultimate start, he was beaten from 3lb lower. Made jumping errors either side of that, so needs to raise his game.

Slanelough (2/1), Knockoura (11/4), Chapel Stile (3/1), Big River (7/2), Ami Desbois (13/2), Federici (13/2), Neverushacon (8/1), Justforjames (28/1)
An interesting race, where the vote goes with the potential improver CHAPEL STILE, now that he goes up to a more stamina-demanding trip. Knockoura could be a big danger, while track specialist Big River and Ami Desbois would both be players if producing what they are capable of.
