Well held in two bumper starts to date including when 35L ninth over an extended 1m7f on heavy ground here last month. Others make more appeal on hurdling debut.
Best effort in three bumper starts came when finishing 13½L eighth in a 2m bumper on the AW at Lingfield just over a month ago. More needed on hurdles debut.

Bumper winner on the AW at Lingfield 12 months and ran well to finish runner-up in a 2m maiden hurdle at Huntingdon (good-to-soft) in November on his return to action. Interesting runner in this contest.

Shown good form in three starts over hurdles to date including when 7L second in a 2m novice event at Sandown (heavy) last month. Trip and forecast underfoot conditions are in his favour and he holds strong claims once more.

Eight race maiden was making his debut for this yard when 6L second over this trip at Southwell (heavy) in November. Had wind surgery since and is worth a check in the market with tongue tie worn for the first time at Southwell retained.

Placed in a piont-to-point last spring but showed little on rules debut at Newbury (good-to-soft) in November and was held when falling at the last at the same venue at the end of that month.

Unraced gelding by Jeremy was purchased for £75,000 at the sales as a three-year-old in May 2017. Half-borther to the useful On Fiddlers Green and he is one to note on debut for top connections.

Returning from wind surgery when finishing 2L second off a mark of 122 in a handicap hurdle at Exeter (2m1f, soft) in November. Decent 11L eighth at Cheltenham (2m1f, soft) the following month and he is interesting back in maiden company.
Three time winner at up to 1m2f on the Flat but struggled on return from over 12 months off the track when 62L 12th on hurdling and stable debut at Huntingdon (2m, good-to-soft) last month. Tongue tie worn for the first time that day is retained.

Raced prominently but was ultimately beaten 59L when sixth in a soft ground bumper over an extended 2m1f at Plumpton on debut early last month. Others make more appeal on hurdling debut.

Well held in two starts in Ireland for Adrian Keatley most recently when 81L 11th in a maiden hurdle over 2m6f at Punchestown in November. Probably best watched dropping markedly in distance on stable debut.

Ran well when finishing 9L fourth in a big field C&D novice hurdle on good ground at the end of October. Outclassed when pulled up in a G2 here the following month and this looks a more suitable target.

Well beaten in two starts over hurdles to date including when 58L 16th at Exeter (2m1f, soft) just under a month ago. Others make more appeal.

Good ground bumper winner for Chris Down at Fontwell in September and has shown fair form in three starts over hurdles for this yard including when falling three out over an extended 2m2f at Exeter (heavy) on her most recent appearance.

Maiden after five starts and was pulled up in first time tongue tie (absent here) over an extended 2m at Taunton (soft) recently. Others make more appeal.

Verdict

ARKYN showed good form when runner-up on his most recent outing and he can go one better to record a first victory over hurdles in the concluding race on the card. Arrivederci has shown good form over jumps so far and he can take second place ahead of the newcomer Grand Slam who was an expensive purchase at the sales and represents a leading stable.
