Improving 98-rated handicap hurdler last spring. Well beaten 83L before pulling up on latest start over fences at Tramore last month. Yard landed a 186/1 double at this meeting 12 months ago with 10/1 and 16/1 winners.
One from 23 starts over hurdles, modest rating of 103. Beaten over 100L on sole chase start in a Galway beginners contest in October.
Eight-race maiden not disgraced in a number of starts over hurdles since September. Possibly best watched on chasing debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise.
Has managed to hit the frame on just one of his seven starts over the larger obstacles. Hard to fancy on overall evidence and others hold sturdier claims.
Modest 965-rated handicap hurdler not disgraced in a number of runs over timber since May. Best watched on chasing introduction.
Well held in maiden hurdles at Ballinrobe and Fairyhouse either side of summer recess before another heavy defeat at Wexford when last seen in October. Trainer has a record of three winners and a place effort from eight starters at this meeting.
Gelding by Kayf Tara. Well beaten in four of his last five hurdle starts and hard to fancy over the larger obstacles here in this contest.
Nine-race maiden rated a below-par handicap hurdler. Will need to improve on overall form to play a significant part on chasing debut.
Limited promise since return from 635 days off in the spring finishing down the field in five of his six starts over timber. Needs to bounce back in a big way on chasing introduction.
One of the more experienced over the larger obstacles and running well in defeat in a couple of starts since October. Sets a decent standard.
Failed to build on a promising debut over fences when falling two out still holding every chance at Tramore on heavy ground last month. Holds leading claims.
Below-oar 94-rated handicap hurdler and well held in a couple of initial starts over fences at Fairyhouse and Tramore since November.
Well held and never nearer in eight starts over hurdles. Little signs of any light at the end of the tunnel on chasing debut.
Struggling on first couple of starts over the larger obstacles and tough to see where improvement is coming from to play a vital part in this contest.
Lightly raced mare, missed 12 months between November last year and October this. Possibly flattered by her finishing positions in recent starts over fences but has vital experience on her side.
Winner of a point-to-point in November before getting off the mark under rules at the 11th time of asking when landing a Fairyhouse 2m7f handicap hurdle last month. Worth a check in the market on second start over fences.
Below-par handicap hurdler, well beaten in a couple of starts since September. Profile suggests that she is worth taking on again making chasing debut in this company.
Had shown nothing until landing a big gamble at Thurles in October in a 17 runner handicap hurdle on good/yielding ground. Well held on both starts over fences last month but no surprise to see improvement.

Trainer Edward O'Grady appears to have found an ideal opportunity for his improving chaser SHAKEYTRY to get off the mark for connections at the third time of asking. the Eight-year-old was still in contention before coming down two out in a 15 runner contest at Tramore last month. The gelding can set the record straight here ahead of the mare, Flamingo's Court and the Denis Hogan-trained Muyam Spirit who is better than his last run suggests. First Class Return and the Joseph O'Brien-trained Deilginis should not be underestimated.
- Shakeytry
- Flamingo's Court
