Made a wining start for this yard over this trip at Lingfield in novice company; now bids to follow up on her Fibresand/handicap debut. Seen to good effect last time out there should be more to come off what looks a fair mark.

Built on a strong performance at Newcastle (split subsequent winners) by scoring at Lingfield over this trip in maiden company. Ran poorly on Tapeta over a longer trip when last seen; can't be written off, has claims if taking to this surface.

Yet to win a race (0-9) but has at least performed on this surface before running one of her better races here last time out over this trip. She's yet to really travel on this Fibresand though and often makes hard work of the task.

Showed some ability on her debut back in March (ran in the Brocklesby) when looking a speedy sort but never performed as well in two subsequent 5f starts. Returns for AW/handicap debut up in trip having not been seen since last spring; doubts remain.

Lightly-raced sort who has performed to a modest level on the AW of late having made his debut on turf. Both his handicap outing have promised that there is more to come; now switches to Fibresand off a career-low mark, worth noting in the market.

Run three of his four races here; showed improved form over C&D last time on handicap debut off this same mark. Never really travelling that well last time he now dons the visor for the first time in a bid to pep him up; needs to raise his game.

Forecasts

Itwouldberudenotto (2/1), Urban Hero (3/1), Merryweather (4/1), Dancing Leopard (4/1), Brass Clankers (11/2), Arasugar (50/1)

Verdict

Just a modest handicap to start the card with URBAN HERO taken to find his impressive Lingfield form again after disappointing at Wolverhampton last time. The surface is an unknow but it will also be a similar scenario for his main market rival Merryweather who makes her handicap/Fibresand debut from a yard in fine form after winning in her debut for connections at Lingfield last time. Both Dancing Leopard and Brass Clankers have form on Fibresand but neither have impressed so far on this surface and will need to improve to take a hand. If there is one lurking in the wings then its Itwouldberudenotto who has shown ability in both his handicaps so far and may well be better than his mark.
