Early days over hurdles for him but he took a step in the right direction in a Clonmel maiden hurdle last time. Steps back up in trip here, and that makes him very interesting.
Ran well on debut in a Leopardstown bumper this time last year, despite being beaten. Immediately bettered that on hurdles debut at Clonmel last month, but weakened and pulled up recently at Tramore. Bit to prove now but big player if bouncing back.
Showed little in three bumpers or on his recent hurdles/stable debut at Clonmel. Can only take a watching brief for the time being.
Moderate performer who is 0-7 and has yet to make an impact in any of those starts. Others readily preferred.
Has shown little so far, despite his latest run being a significant step up on previous efforts. Looks one to watch until entering minor handicaps.
Has failed to get involved in five starts over a variety of trips in both bumpers and maiden hurdles so far. Took a step in the right direction last time, but very hard to see him being good enough to win this.
Not devoid of ability in bumpers, but was sent off at 66-1 on his recent hurdles debut at Naas, when he fell at the second. Plenty to prove.
Glimpses of ability in a couple of his bumper runs, but 33-1 and beaten a long way on hurdles debut here over C&D last month. Others preferred.
Showed ability last season when fourth in a Gowran maiden hurdle (2m, yielding) and looking likely to win here when falling at the last (2m, heavy) in March. Well below that level in two starts for this trainer, but respected nonetheless.
Has flattered to deceive on a few occasions, but it looks like there is some ability there and he may be able to pick up a race or two. Hung badly left when held last time. Tongue-tie goes on, and will be a bit more interesting in handicaps.
Not devoid of ability in bumpers and bettered those efforts on his hurdles debut at Navan (2m4f, soft) last month. Will need to improve again to trouble the principals here, but not ruled out of the money.
Well held in all three starts (all over hurdles) so far and needs vast improvement if he is to make any impression this time.
Bounced back after unseating at the first on his hurdles debut at Wexford in October, when 66-1 but keeping on for fourth of 22 in a Punchestown maiden hurdle last month. Could be a big player if building on that encouraging effort.
Making steady improvement with each of three starts, but still beaten a long way at Naas recently. Back up in trip this time, but needs to step up plenty on what we have seen to get involved.
Showed glimpses of ability in bumpers, but so far she has not been anywhere near that level of form in two hurdles runs. Much more needed.
Last of eight on debut in a Galway bumper in October, and has gone backwards from that in two hurdles runs. Can only watch.
Well beaten at increasing odds in three runs so far. Was entitled to need her recent hurdles debut after a lengthy break, but need to see much more from her.
Forecasts
Zambezi Fix (2/1), Eleazar Des Neiges (4/1), Some Can Sing (4/1), Key Commander (11/2), K'chou Du Pecos Aa (8/1), Heliers Bay (12/1), Siberian Star (14/1), La Feline (16/1), Our Marvmichael (33/1), Happie Days (33/1), Cousin Harry (40/1), Henry Sellers (66/1), Arctic Ambition (66/1), Mustmeetkate (80/1), Ciara's Treasure (100/1), You Should Have (100/1), Scanimax (200/1)
Few obvious challengers in what looks a weak maiden hurdle, but K'chou Du Pecos Aa, Zambezi Fix and Key Commander all look capable of having a say. However, preference is for ELEAZAR DES NEIGES, who arrives on the back of a better effort and could find more over this trip.
- Eleazar Des Neiges
- K'chou Du Pecos Aa
- Zambezi Fix
