Five-time winner at up to 1m4f done most of his racing over this trip in a winless 2019. Handicap now a long way below last winning mark but has been for a while and he hasn't taken advantage.
Hurdle winner for Gordon Elliott made little impression for that yard subsequently over a variety of trips but he ought to be effective here given his 120 hurdles mark. Market a guide.
Hurdles winner returned to the level with back-to-back C&D thirds beaten 1L and 2L respectively with the more recent off today's mark. Again expecting him to go close here.
Winning hurdler ran well in three starts in the spring but out of sorts in a Flat race and two hurdle races subsequently and was pulled up latest. Need to see at least a glimmer now.
Three-time winner at up to 1m2f for Phil Kirby achieved just an ordinary level of form so far in three starts for this yard. Still lightly raced over this trip but others preferred.
Won twice on the Flat and twice over hurdles for Dr Richard Newland before joining this yard recently. Second over 1m3½f at Haydock most recently a solid effort but unproven over this far on the Flat; respected.
Three-time winner at up to 1m2f for Karl Burke seemed to stay 1m6f in last start for the yard. Ran two poor races since joining a yard renowned for reinvigorating new recruits so risky now.
Won three times in 2017 but had a few trainers since then and losing run now stands at 12 as he starts out with yet another new trainer. 0-6 AW record the final nail in the coffin.
Won over 1m2f and 1m3f for Hugo Palmer but 0-13 for this yard. That said his third over 1m4f here was encouraging that he may be on the way back and dangerously well handicapped if he stays this trip; mixed messages to date.
Never won over this far although she has twice won over 1m5f. Win over that 1m4f at Chepstow in July her first win since 2016 but ran reasonably well since. Still others have more compelling cases.
Won three times over 1m2½f at Dundalk and probably stays 1m4f. Definitely didn't last 2m in only try and doubts he will stay here too.

Few 10-year-olds appeal as well handicapped but DOVILS DATE is definitely one who does. Three-times he has been successful over hurdles since winning on the Flat at Lingfield so he looks seriously well in given his Flat mark has risen 3lb during a spell where his hurdles mark has gone up 20lb. The fact that he hasn't run for 155 days is a slight concern however so others such as Dance To Paris and Mauricio are also worth considering.
