Shantou gelding made a really pleasing debut at Punchestown last month finishing fourth of 22 beaten just over 3L by champion bumper runner-up Blue Sari. That form alone gives him a chance but surely can improve on it.
Bought for £150,000 after short-head second in lone point-to-point at Oldtown. Joined leading yard having a fantastic spell so can't be ignored here.
Son of Most Improved finished midfield in lone point-to-point so hardly leaps off the page as a likely sort.
Point-to-point runner-up never really involved in maidens at Punchestown and Fairyhouse last month so best avoided here.

82-rated dual Flat scorer for Hughie Morrison was best at 1m2f. Not entirely sure then he'll want farther than 2m over hurdles but displayed more ability than most.
85-rated dual Flat winner shown moderate aptitude for hurdling twice so far over 2m but given his best Flat form came over 7f he is a highly doubtful stayer here.
Neck second to ill-fated but exceptional Sir Erec last season ranked him a high class prospect. Ninth in Triumph Hurdle hardly tardy level but shade disappointing in Grade Three on return. Sets the bar extraordinarily high for a maiden.

Shirocco gelding made little impression in two bumpers so is best watched here despite representing a top yard.
Non-factor in a bumper at Navan and maiden hurdle here and hard to fancy today.

Won a Sligo bumper on debut in August before coming up shy in Listed company at Gowran Park. Third at Wexford on hurdles debut over this trip suggested her a stayer in the making but can be competitive as stable second string.
Fell on debut and tailed off subsequently in two maidens at Navan. Makes no appeal here.
Made little impression on debut at Thurles and best watched here too.
Reserve- Sans Frontieres gelding out of an unraced half-sister to useful 2m-2m2f hurdle/chase winner Competitive Edge. Unlikely to be competitive in this red-hot contest if getting in.

In pushing Sir Erec to a neck last season TIGER TAP TAP marked himself out a high-class prospect and although he remains winless three starts later all of them have been in Graded company. Back in a maiden today he will take an enormous amount of beating and gets the nod for Willie Mullins, Rich Ricci and Paul Townend. This race is not devoid of dangers however with Ashdale Bob who ran so well against another smart Mullins novice on debut chief among them. Unbeaten bumper winners Home By The Lee and Henry Brown are likely to be well up to winning maiden hurdles in the near future.
