Been in good form at Newcastle in recent weeks, including winning twice (1m). Off a career high mark as a result and ran well to finish fifth there (1m2f) last time. Beaten on both starts here previously and is vulnerable.

Made a winning GB debut by 3¾L at Southwell (1m) two starts ago. Found the drop to 7f back there against him last time but still ran well off an 8lb higher mark. First try in excess of 1m here.

Has been placed on three of his last four starts (1m½f/1m1½f) including a win two starts back. Only beaten a nose last time and likely to make another bold bid off a 1lb higher mark.

Took advantage of a plummeting mark and wind surgery to win his last two starts here (both 1m½f). Won off 10lb higher mark in August 2018 so is still well handicapped and cannot be dismissed despite stamina concerns.

Won off 3lb lower over C&D in April but had been a mixed bag since until being narrowly denied at Chelmsford (1m) 16 days ago. Isn't the most consistent has has mostly struggled off this sort of mark in the past. Others preferred.

Built on his promising form in novice company to make a winning handicap debut in good style at Newcastle (1m2f) 23 days ago. Up 6lb for that but still unexposed and is a leading player.

Made all to win at Salisbury in the summer but has been struggling since, including returned to the AW at Lingfield last time (1m). She weakened late on and back up in trip in open company will make life difficult.

Three-time AW winner who come back to form over C&D last time, beaten ¾L into third. First-time blinkers added and remains 1lb below his last win, which came over C&D in October 2018.

7½f Chester winner for previous handler Roger Varian who finished fifth of seven at Lingfield (1m2f) in the first-time hood earlier this week. Still has stamina queries over this trip but is feasibly handicapped on his best.

Rattled off a four-timer at this track earlier this year (7f-1m1½f). Has still ran creditably in three runs at this course since but maybe struggling with his higher handicap mark and might need to ease a little to bounce back fully.

Little Indiap121
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-7| J: Hollie Doyle| T: K R Burke| OR:  72

Placed on five of her nine starts; she returned from a three-month break to finish fourth in a claimer over C&D three weeks ago. Dropped 3lb since then, cheekpieces applied and less exposed than most.

Forecasts

Big Daddy Kane (6/4), Sea Fox (6/1), Storm Ahead (8/1), Home Before Dusk (9/1), Sezim (9/1), Fancy Footings (9/1), Little India (12/1), Global Art (16/1), Keswick (20/1), Daddy's Daughter (33/1), Street Poet (40/1)

Verdict

Following his very impressive handicap debut at Newcastle recently, BIG DADDY KANE should be hard to beat on just his fifth career start. Despite winning his last two starts, Sea Fox is still very well handicapped on his peak 2018 form and should be able to get involved if his stamina lasts this extra furlong whilst Storm Ahead has been holding his form well in recent weeks at this track and should be there or thereabouts.
  1. Big Daddy Kane
  2. Sea Fox
  3. Storm Ahead
