Horse A-Z
Daughter of Jeremy out of an Old Vic mare. 12th of 22 beaten 43L on debut in a Naas bumper in the early part of last month. Appears up against it here.
Another in the contest by Jeremy out of a Alderbrook mare. Closely related to Morello Royale, winner of a Listed contest over 3m½f and six-time winner Mystic Theatre. Looks an exciting prospect.
Califet filly and a half-sister to the useful Hitherjacques Lady. Detached on latest start at Naas in a 2m bumper on soft to heavy ground last month and easy to look elsewhere.

5/2
Daughter of Getaway out of a Perugino mare. Half-sister to College Boy, hurdle winner over 2m. Worth a check in the betting on debut for respected connections. First-time hood applied.
Beat Hollow filly out of a winning hurdler. Half-sister to Emily Moon who won a bumper on debut for Jessica Harrington. Pleasing fourth on debut at Downpatrick but needs to better that effort here.
Ran with credit to finish fifth of 18 at Gowran Park in October on her second start in a Listed mares' bumper on good to yielding ground over 2m. Leading player.

Daughter of Milan out of a Presenting mare. Closely related to Doctor Dex, successful over hurdles and the larger obstacles racing between 2m and 2m3f.

Daughter of Scorpion. Running with plenty of credit in three bumper starts since October. Deserves a change of fortune but likely will have to settle for a minor honour once again.
Daughter of Califet out of a Amilynx mare. Once raced dam. Best watched on debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise.
By Yeats out of a Rudimentary mare. Half-sister to bumper and 2m1f-2m4f chase winner Sporting Press. Needs to improve on debut effort at Punchestown when last seen in May.
Cost 20,000 euros as a three-year-old. Related to useful National Hunt performers See U Bob and Glencree. Beaten favourite on debut at Naas in early November but likely to produce better in this contest.

Forecasts

Glan (5/2), Castra Vetera (3/1), Jelona (10/3), More Info (6/1), Some Might Say (7/1), Hollow Moon (16/1), Nurse Mairead (25/1), Shes Some Doll (50/1), Come Home Katie (50/1), Carrigeen Lotus (66/1), Milalee (66/1)

Verdict

JELONA shaped well when ridden in rear before progress to finish fifth of 18 in a Listed bumper at Gowran Park when last seen in October. The daughter of Milan can improve to land the spoils in the closer here at the expense of the Willie Mullins-trained Some Might Say who will improve for her debut at Naas last month. Debutantes' Glan for the Gordon Elliott/ Jamie Codd combination and Castra Vetera for Joseph O'Brien appear the biggest dangers.
  1. Jelona
  2. Some Might Say
  3. Glan
