Fell on his chasing debut (October 2018) having jumped well to that point, quickly returned to hurdles showing some smart form; won well on chase reappearance run at Bangor late last month and one of the leading contenders.

Schiehallion Munroh21

7/2
Dual winner over hurdles and finished last season with 5L third at Perth (2m4f) in April; easily won on his chase debut at Catterick in November and is entitled to progress and make up into a decent chaser; definite chance.

Eskendash40
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Paul O'Brien(3)| T: Mrs P Sly| OR:  125
17/2
Reasonably consistent hurdler; blundered badly on chase debut losing all chance at Huntingdon in April; can go closer with a clear round but will certainly improve with more experience over the larger obstacles.
4

Est Illic31
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: Benjamin Poste| T: T Symonds| OR:  110
28/1
A point-to-point winner who has been largely disappointing since switching to Rules; no real highlights from his five hurdles outings and this looks tough on his chase debut against previous winners.
5
Horse silk
Vinnie The Hoddie32
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: L P Aspell| T: O Sherwood| OR:  127
4/1
Useful hurdler who ran well on his chase debut at Wincanton in October when finishing 2nd; only made it to fence number two at Kempton in November; difficult to assess and worth a peek in the market.

Forecasts

Knight In Dubai (5/6), Schiehallion Munro (7/2), Vinnie The Hoddie (4/1), Eskendash (17/2), Est Illic (28/1)

Verdict

Classy hurdler KNIGHT IN DUBAI showed he has a chase career ahead of him based on his performance at Bangor last month. He did not have too much to beat that day but he did it well and can be expected to progress. Schiehallion Munro easily won on his chase debut at Catterick and did little wrong in that contest. He should give the selection most to do. If Vinnie The Hoddie can put a bad fall last time out behind him then he showed enough on his debut run at Wincanton to suggest he will be winning races sooner rather than later.
