A wind op appears to have produced some better performances over hurdles/fences, her last two starts over the larger obstacles showing her in a better light. Runner-up twice over fences she has finished weakly both times though; faces a stiff test.
Hard to fault her chasing starts last season highlighted by a Ffos Las win in February off 4lb lower (2m3f). Looked a little off the pace for her reappearance last month (tongue-tie on first-time); handicapper relents a little, still has to convince.
Building up a good record over fences (3-5) running consistently of late (won two of last three). Made the most of a good opportunity last time at Fakenham (jumped soundly); up 5lb for winning what was ostensibly a weak heat, more progress needed.
Took back-to-back handicap chases earlier in the year before finding a rise in grade too much in two subsequent runs. Resumed her progress having had a wind op when returning to action at Lingfield (travelled well); up 4lb still in the mix.
Dual hurdles scorer for a former yard she made the most of a weak Market Rasen handicap to open her chasing account in first-time blinkers/cheekpieces. Made most but will need to improve sharply to defy a penalty in this more exacting company.

Zara Hope (5/2), Definitelyanoscar (11/4), Chequered View (3/1), Molly Carew (11/2), Parlour Maid (7/1), Skewiff (7/1)
None of this sextet can be written off although one or two will need to improve on what they have shown so far over fences. One who could well do that is PARLOUR MAID who surprised with the way she travelled through a race at Lingfield last time in testing conditions. This will test her again but she’s worth siding with off a 4lb higher mark. Chequered View has been well placed to land three races over fences so far, she drops down from 3m last time but that extra stamina she has may well stand her in good stead. The weak finish of Definitelyanoscar is rather a concern while the other three trio have to improve although Zara Hope is at least a recent winner.
