Reportedly did not face up to a first-time visor when last on the track in August over course and distance; had previously ran well here over 7f but balance of summer form was uninspiring; plenty to prove tongue-tied for the first time here.

Was beaten 3L into sixth on stable debut at Kempton (1m) 13 days ago. That wasn't a bad effort but did weaken late on so the drop back in trip here is a positive. Cheekpieces retained, drops marginally in grade and so is shortlisted.

Well beaten on all three starts (6f/7f) including over C&D last time. Another who makes her handicap debut at low-level and is bred to be better than this grade. Any market support should be noted.

Did improve with each her of three runs to date but it was from a low base. Beaten 6¾L most recently at Kempton (5f) and is up two furlongs in trip in this contest. Yard struggling for winners (3/51) this year and others are preferred.

Hasn't beaten a rival in three runs so far, including trailing home by 24L at Yarmouth (6f) last time out. Hood added for this handicap debut but has very little to recommend on the evidence to date.

Made the frame on two occasions earlier in the year (both 5f) but has disappointed in two handicaps since. Has joined a new yard (same owners) with cheekpieces added over a new trip. Plenty of questions to answer now but at least has shown ability.

Mixed pedigree by Derby winner Camelot out of a multiple winning sprinter. Hasn't shown a lot to date but may well have found 5f too sharp the last twice and this step-up in trip is a positive, whilst a hood and tongue-tie are also added.

Wasn't a lot to gleen from her three runs so far but the most recent was the best of those, when tenth, beaten 8L, here 14 days ago. Still a fair jolt of improvement required but any moves in the market would make her worthy of a second look.

Ran poorly at Kempton (6f) last time but had shown some promise before that both here (6f) and Newcastle (7f). First-time visor applied here and has an each-way squeak if putting his best foot forward.

Yet to reach the frame in eight starts. There has been little encouragement in any of those and, despite the addition of blinkers, it is difficult to see her getting involved based on her form to date.

Forecasts

Surrajah (9/4), Beat The Breeze (5/2), Twittering (11/4), Leg It Lenny (9/2), Don'tyouwantmebaby (7/1), Light Lily (8/1), Star Of St Louis (8/1), Cesifire (12/1), Heleta (18/1), Jane Victoria (20/1), Sea Willow (25/1), The Works (33/1)

Verdict

With very little solid form to go on, it's worth sticking with BEAT THE BREEZE after he was just denied at Wolverhampton recently. There are reasons to think Twittering can get involved here, especially dropping down in trip plus he's actually won a race, which of none of his rivals have. Of the others, Surrajah may benefit from the extra distance, with new headgear applied.
