Forecasts

Love Explodes (15/8), Millicent Fawcett (9/4), Regal Lilly (9/2), Bustaan (5/1), War Princess (15/2), Peruvian Lily (8/1), Rgeebee (50/1), Another Approach (66/1), Droichead Atha (200/1)

Verdict

The Kingman filly Millicent Fawcett sets the clear form standard but she's on the small side and hasn't progressed since making a pleasing debut at Newbury (7f, soft) in April. Despite having a valid excuse (resented the Fibresand) for defeat at prohibitive odds at Southwell latest, there's still scope for taking her on again in an admittedly modest affair. Bustaan should be streetwise for her recent C&D debut and is likely to be more competitive, but the token alternative to the Gosden-trained filly is the returning REGAL LILLY who is now in the care of David Simcock (formerly with Mark Johnston).
  1. Regal Lilly
  2. Millicent Fawcett
  3. Bustaan
