Last of 10 on sole start over the larger obstacles when last seen in May 2018. First time hood unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Put a host of dismal efforts behind him when getting off the mark for connections at the fifth time of asking over hurdles at Thurles last month. More progress likely on chasing debut.
15-race maiden without success in five starts over fences. Posted a career best effort finishing second of 10 at Tramore in October but needs to show more consistency.
10-race maiden but running with plenty of credit in a number of starts over hurdles since returning to action in October. More needed but looks an interesting recruit over the larger obstacles.
Off the mark over hurdles at the sixth attempt at Downpatrick in June. Promising effort on first start over fences to finish third of 16 at Thurles over 2m2f last month. Likely to improve and worth considering.
Struggling 89-rated handicap hurdler, always behind and never a factor on dismal chasing debut over 2m2f at Thurles last month before falling four out when in midfield at Clonmel earlier this month. Remains easy to oppose.
Pleasing third of 12 beaten 14L on chasing debut in a Galway novice chase over 2m2f before disappointing a little at Fairyhouse last month. Better than last run suggests and worth a check in the market.
Nine-race maiden, generally well held over hurdles in three starts since October. Unseated rider on sole start over fences at Gowran Park, making too many mistakes in the process. Form doesn't warrant support here.
Runner up in soft ground Point-to-point in March and has shown gradual improvement since over hurdles. Running well in defeat in a couple of starts over fences so far and likely to run his race more than others in this company.
11-race maiden. Well held and never a factor on chasing debut at Fairyhouse last month beaten over 40L behind Carefully Selected over 2m5f on soft ground. In the right hands to improve.
Useful 107-rated handicap hurdler. Winless since Catterick novice score in February 2018. Market likely to reveal expectations on chasing introduction.
Multiple winning point-to-pointer last season but struggled since in a number of starts under rules including in a couple of handicap hurdles at Punchestown and Limerick last month. Hard to make a case for on second start over fences.
Lightly raced mare, missed 12 months between November last year and October this. Took the eye on her latest start at Thurles in a beginners contest over 2m2f on soft ground last month but needs to back that up here.
Had shown nothing until landing a big gamble at Thurles in October. Winner since and ran with plenty of credit on chasing debut at Clonmel earlier this month. Appears to be up against it.
Lightly raced mare posted a career best effort on her latest start in a Punchestown handicap hurdle last month over 2m5½f to finish second of 17 beaten ½L on soft ground. Entitled to have designs on prize money on chasing debut.
Forecasts
Tokyo Getaway (9/2), Shakeytry (5/1), First Class Return (6/1), Alohamora (8/1), Three Is Company (10/1), Sil Ver Klass (10/1), Blaze A Trail (10/1), Whydah (12/1), Riverdene (16/1), Ask Mary (16/1), Flamingo's Court (20/1), Robin Gold (20/1), The Shunter (20/1), Ballinabearna (50/1), Shedding (66/1)
Difficult to ignore the chances of the Gavin Cromwell-trained TOKYO GETAWAY following her improved performance to finish second of 17 at Punchestown last month. The point-to-point winner in April can get off the mark at the first time of asking over the larger obstacles at the expense of Shakeytry a promising third of 16 on chasing debut at Thurles last month and the Gordon Elliott-trained Three Is Company, now having his third start over fences. Blaze A Trail and Riverdene look interesting recruits to the jumping game while the Tony Martin-trained Sil Ver Klass is worth a market check as post time approaches.
- Tokyo Getaway
- Shakeytry
- Three Is Company
