The nine-year-old has seen his form level out since going up in distance but he has won over this trip on two occasions previously albeit in 2015 and 2016, as well as finishing third of 11 runners on sole start over C&D. The 7lb claim of jockey Hugh Morgan could be significant as he fends off the obvious dangers in the three of the four J P McManus representatives Everlastingpromise, Glenloe and Minella Times. All said a wide open contest that may be dictated by the market.
