Fakenham winner over hurdles a year ago and showed aptitude for fences when promising third over this trip at Kempton last month. Generally jumped well and with that experience behind him should do better in this sphere.
Has been better on this second spell over fences and his third over C&D last month was in a much stronger race than this. Normal improvement will see him play a leading role in this.
Won over 2m in September at Worcester and although he seemed to stay this trip when last tried at it, he does the vast majority of his racing at shorter and others could be stronger stayers.
Versatile trip wise and won on debut for this yard in the summer at Fontwell though didn't show much on recent chasing debut and needs to take a step forward from that.
Won at Chepstow when with Colin Tizzard a year ago but has lost his way since then and showed little in two runs for current yard so not hard to look elsewhere on current form.
Uttoxeter win in July was gained off this mark but has lost his way badly since and hurdles run last time was no better. Hard to make a case for in his current form.
Has failed to complete in three of his five runs over fences and needs to get his jumping sorted out though on earlier form over hurdles, the ability is there if he does so.
Took well to chasing with her Warwick win in May but hasn't been able to build on that and didn't achieve much when third in weak contest at Kempton last time so bit to prove for now.
Did win over hurdles last term at this trip but was inconsistent in that sphere. Looked a natural over fences when winning here over 2m on chasing debut and the runner-up has won since. 8lb higher now but more to come and makes plenty of appeal.
Moderate form in three goes over fences. Held by Duc Kauto on running here in October and stamina to prove so not hard to look elsewhere.

Forecasts
Kilbrew Boy (7/2), Duc Kauto (7/2), Hurricane Arcadio (7/2), Acaro (7/2), Tikkinthebox (10/1), Kentford Mallard (12/1), Voila Eric (12/1), Zen Master (16/1), Flaming Charmer (33/1), Paddys Runner (40/1), Spring Steel (66/1)
DUC KAUTO showed the benefit of a wind operation when winning with a bit to spare on his chasing debut and with the promise of more to come on this return to further appeals as something to bet on. Kilbrew Boy showed enough at Kempton to suggest he will win races in this sphere and may chase the selection home while Acaro looks best of the rest on this drop in class.
