Better efforts so far have come over 5f including when fourth on her handicap debut last time at Chepstow. Shaped better than the distance she was beaten by on that outing; has to now show she can operate at 6f and on this new surface.

Showed best form so far (only modest) when finishing in midfield on his second start over 7f here. Failed to match that level when switched to Tapeta last time (7f); may well appreciate a first try at 6f plus a return to Fibresand; handicap debut.

Hardly lacks experience (had 13 starts already) but remains a maiden although this is just his second start for this yard. Fibresand debut; had plenty of chances in handicaps though, likely to find one or two too good over a trip that stretches him.

Blinkers go on for the first time having run below form last time over 7f on Tapeta certainly not showing as much as he did on his y7f Fibresand debut in a nursery. 10lb lower than when first introduced into handicaps; would need others to falter.

First run on this surface and in with a chance if she takes to it having run well on handicap debut last time over 5f at Newcastle off 2lb higher. Previously beaten in four selling races so still has to prove that she can back that performance up.

From a yard that perform well here she showed her best form last time on handicap debut (fourth AW run). Yet to experience Fibresand she did lack the pace of the winner last time over 6f; would probably appreciate going back to 7f; not out of this.

Yet to run here but hasn't really done enough in his last two handicap starts to cause any waves in this although this will be his first try at 6f in this sphere. Needs to settle better in his races having run too free last time; others appeal more.

Twice a winner over5/6f early in her career when with Archie Watson that form was only modest at best and she's underachieved for this yard. Ran badly last time at Wolverhampton, now gets her first state of Fibresand; hard to make a case for her.

Ran his best race at Newcastle last time when trying 7f for the first time bit it's still modest form and he would need to improve to take a hand here. Drops back to 6f for his first try on Fibresand but makes limited appeal; looks a quirky sort.

Still looked a hard ride even with the addition of a first-time visor last time for his first try on this surface (slow away; never travelled). Plugged on into third over 1m so this step back to 6f doesn't look an obvious move even off 1lb lower.

Showed a little more than previously when making her handicap debut over 5f at Chepstow in September. Upped in trip for two efforts in this sphere since she's shown very little, hard to work up much enthusiasm for her chance.

Handicap debut with her one experience of Fibresand seeing her only beat one home over C&D on her second start. Has very little form to speak of and it would be a surprise if she can get involved this time around.

Verdict

Not an easy contest to work out with plenty of these trying handicaps for the first time but TIGER BALM despite being drawn on the wide outside looks an interesting sort on her handicap debut especially given her pedigree that suggests she will be well suited by this surface. Oasis Song has to adapt to Fibresand but comes from a stable which knows what’s needed here and she made an impression on her handicap debut last time although an extra furlong would be ideal. Both Full Spectrum and Class Clown have possibilities at this level and can’t be ignored whilst it’s surprising to see Jochi Khan back at 6f after his effort here last time.
