Took advantage of ease in handicap mark when winning nicely over 7f here on penultimate start before following up next time out; could still be progressive and only slight doubt is step back in trip.
Progressive last winter, recording back-to-back victories at Newcastle (6f & 7f novices'); hasn't made an overly positive impression since (0-3) but continues to drop down the weights.
10-time winner who scored over course and distance on his penultimate start before failing to get home over a mile next time out; better chance this time but may need to drop a few more pounds to get truly competitive.
Most wins had come over shorter but showed he is capable at this trip when winning last time out at this track; front-runner who may try to make all from his low draw; respected.
Not won since two-year-old days but has returned from a short break with two decent efforts at Chelmsford over the past month; will certainly to race ready and starting to look well-weighted.
Has been in very poor form of late including when finishing last of 12 at Lingfield on latest start; hard to see where sudden improvement will come from though has been given some respite by the handicapper.
Surprisingly won over course and distance on his penultimate start but returned to type when well beaten on latest start; another who will appreciate a drop in the weights but hard to write off totally.
Had a good summer with victories at Yarmouth and Lingfield.; not seen out since losing a shoe on last outing in July; has changed stable since; hard to assess.

EARTH AND SKY is likely to be all the rage going for a hat-trick and this well-bred individual looks as though the penny has finally dropped for her. Only slight worry is the step back in trip but still may prove too good for her rivals. Little Palaver has traditionally been better over slighter shorter but made all to win last time out over this trip and may make a bold bid to win this from the front. The gelding is well drawn to do so. Al Asef does not win so often but has been eased back into racing with two decent efforts recently and may go well at a decent price.
