Three of his four wins on AW have come in claiming company including his success at Wolverhampton last time out. Has a much tougher ask from a 4lb higher mark here though and has never won from a mark quite this high.
Went close here on his seasonal bow before going close in two starts at Windsor. 4L runner-up to a well-handicapped sort at Nottingham when last seen but interesting on his return to this surface with a progressive profile.
Off the mark at the sixth attempt over C&D last time out when winning in good style. Up 7lb for that but every chance there's more to come and perhaps won with more in hand than his rise in the weights suggests.
All four wins have come in bumpers/hurdle races. Has been in fair form since returning to the Flat, going close in maiden company (7f) here before two respectable efforts in defeat at Musselburgh, latest at 2m; interesting dropped in trip.
All three of her wins have come on AW including a C&D success last month prior to finishing a close third at Lingfield last time out from her revised mark; every chance she's still feasibly handicapped but widest draw perhaps not ideal.
Course winner back in 2017 but hasn't won since and has been badly out of form in four starts since a mid-season hiatus. Back below his last winning handicap mark but opposable in a race of this depth.
C&D winner on debut and while he hasn't won since, he's run okay here on his last couple of starts; interesting back up in trip.
Course winner who has recorded all of his wins on AW. 6lb below his last winning handicap and bounced back to form with an excellent second of 14 at Chelmsford last time out; fascinating contender.
All six wins have come on turf and hasn't won since 2017. Out of form in four starts for his previous yard and starts out for a new trainer again returning from a lengthy absence; others preferred.
A winner over this trip at Newcastle back in December 2018 and while he hasn't won since it was a much improved effort when third of 14 at Newcastle last month in first-time cheekpieces; feasibly handicapped if the cheekpieces have the same effect.
Forecasts
Rangali Island (11/8), One Cool Daddy (5/1), Normal Norman (8/1), Lethal Missile (8/1), Scofflaw (11/1), Delicate Kiss (14/1), Dourado (14/1), Merweb (16/1), Glory of Paris (16/1), Frank Bridge (100/1)
A tricky contest with some unexposed sorts and all-weather specialists in the line up and it's the former category that perhaps has the strongest candidate in the shape of LETHAL MISSILE. He may appreciate a return to all-weather and was only beaten by a very well-handicapped rival last time. Fellow three-year-old Rangali Island is an obvious threat after his course and distance success last time. Glory Of Paris is an each-way contender if he builds on a good run at Chelmsford last time out.
- Lethal Missile
- Rangali Island
- Glory of Paris
