10lb lower than when beaten a neck by Kilfilum Cross at Ludlow (3m, good) in February; arguably is working back to peak form and fitness following recent runs at Cheltenham (3m1) and Ludlow (3m1½f); drops back in trip.
Hacked up in a 2m4f novices' handicap chase at Carlisle (heavy) in April 2018 and was hit hard by the handicapper afterwards; raced keenly (weakened from three out) on recent comeback run at Newcastle (2m4f, heavy).
Maiden over fences (0-15); now 6lb lower than when beaten 1½L by Bally Longford at Newbury (2m6½f, soft) in March 2018, but has failed to complete in each of his last three starts (UPP).
Off the track for 258-days since finishing fourth of ten (beaten 5L) to Inaminna at Chepstow (2m3½f, good to soft) in March; the race-fitness of this 2m course winner (on heavy) is taken on trust.
Won three on the bounce during the spring (2m2f-2m4f); has failed to sparkle since returning to the track at Fontwell in October and remains 6lb above his last winning mark; course form figures (mainly at 2m) read 2312.
