The Westerner gelding impressed when winning a point-to-point in February by 15L and can land the closing contest ahead of the Gordon Elliott-trained Ragnar Lodbrok, the mount of jockey Jamie Codd. Gigginstown House Stud-owned pair Eric Bloodaxe and Favori De Champdou will be interesting to follow in the coming months with the same to be said for the Jessica Harrington-trained Crosshill and Gabbys Cross in the colours of owner Roger Brookhouse.
