Fair handicapper but the losing run is starting to mount although he put in one of his better performances last time out at Newcastle at the beginning of November; he finished strongly that day and step up in trip should suit.
Only one decent run in his last four does not inspire much confidence; tongue-tied for the first time here and cheekpieces on; hard to see him winning despite handicap mark looking attractive.
Has recaptured some form of late including running well over this course and distance; needs to bounce back from recent below par run and looks fairly weighted at present; chances.
Most impressive at Bath in June but has struggled on his last two appearances at Ffos Las and Lingfield; something to prove but would be of interest if coming in for strong market support for trainer who does well at this track.
Much happier on the AW these days and goes well at this track; not been in the best of form but looks on an attractive mark and is capable of winning races.
Was an 18-race maiden before winning her last two starts at this track; certainly in the form of her life and it would not be a surprise for her to land a hat-trick.
First two runs in France for new stable have yielded nothing. In poor form for former yard in Ireland before she switched, and others have far more convincing claims after disappointing last time out at Chepstow.
Won on handicap debut at Yarmouth (1m, good) in May and was a good second at Newmarket (1m, good) shortly after; has been disappointing on his last three efforts after a break though slight improvement latest.
Fairly inconsistent but manages to win his fair share of races; last win came at Brighton In August but disappointed subsequently; something to prove but a win would not be unexpected.
Exposed maiden who finished last of nine last time out at Kempton earlier this month; has some bits of form so no desperate hope but probably better to look elsewhere.
Has dropped 17lb this year but thats down to his moderate form since joining this yard; no signs of any arrest to the decline last time at Chelmsford when finishing last of 10.
Without a win for a long while; change of surrounding may do him some good but it is hard to get excited by any of the form he has shown in the few runs; easily passed over.
Managed to take a step back in the right direction last time having failed to really fire this season; she still went in snatches at over this course and distance; not one to rely on but worth a check in the market.
Forecasts
Scoffsman (3/1), Greengage (7/2), Enzo (6/1), The Game Is On (15/2), Derry Boy (8/1), Tangramm (10/1), Beatbybeatbybeat (14/1), Newmarket Warrior (16/1), Mrs Hoo (20/1), Creative Talent (20/1), Dark Devil (25/1), Chiavari (40/1), Mr Minerals (50/1)
THE GAME IS ON may be able to get back to winning ways after struggling to get competitive on his last two starts. If he can replicate the form he showed when winning at Bath in June, he holds every chance. Greengage is in the form of her life after a long losing streak. Now she has found her confidence, she may well be able to land her hat-trick before the handicapper catches up with her. Enzo does not look particularly badly treated at the weights and it would not take a great leap of faith to suggest he is capable of getting back to winning ways.
