A C&D winner who also scored at this course over the extended 1m trip back in March. Was unsuccessful in eight appearances on turf this year. Returned to the AW over this C&D last time where she was 10th of 13. Has to be respected off this mark.
Had been in poor form until running well at Newcastle at the start of the month when beaten 5L into eighth; slightly hampered and kept on late but will need to build on that to take a hand in proceedings.
Course and distance winner who has hardly put a foot wrong on his last three appearances, winning twice and being runner-up the other time; not ideally drawn but has huge chance given his recent form.
Clearly well weighted on best of old form but has been woefully out of sorts for a long time; hard to totally write off but difficult to recommend unless market speaks in his favour.
Not the most consistent but can produce the goods on a going day; loves this track and has a handy draw here; one for the shortlist.
Another not blessed with consistency but was rewarded for some fair efforts last time when dropping in class; more needed here and needs to be delivered to perfection to get his head in front.
Still a maiden after 10 runs but put up one of her better performances last time out over course and distance; looks to be slowly improving with each race and should be winning sooner rather than later; respected.
Won at Salisbury in May for John Flint, but has been struggling to find his best form since, and again below best on debut for new yard at Kempton earlier this month.
Fairly consistent though hasn't won for a year; probably needed recent reappearance run and will be fitter and stronger here; has run some of his best races over course and distance; interesting.
Has been much better since returning from a summer's break, winning at Musselburgh before possibly failing to stay over a mile at Newcastle; up in the handicap but not without a chance.
Not the most consistent but has ability and some winning form; first-time blinkers applied here and difficult to write off totally though not one to trust implicitly.

It is hard to get away from the credentials of the in-form VIOLA PARK who has been in smashing form of late including winning over course and distance on his penultimate start. Given he has won off his current mark in the past, it would be no surprise to see him going close again. Rockesbury loves it around this track and will be straighter for a recent reappearance run at Lingfield last week. He holds every chance on the best of his form. Peachey Carnehan may not be the most consistent but has put in some good performances of late and is well drawn here.
- Viola Park
- Peachey Carnehan
- Rockesbury
