Course winner who was a long way behind his stablemate last time at Chelmsford (6f) having proved easy to back. Visor back on bit doesn't look the easiest at time and comes here with something to prove.

Looked to need the run last time having had six weeks off the track and it should be remembered that his sole career win did come here over 5f. Proved that he stays this trip and gets a slight ease in the weights if ready after another short break.

Aided by a strong pace when scoring over 5f at Catterick In September to record his first turf victory. In fairly good heart since then (run twice over 7f) travelled well last time; one to include in calculations if taking to this surface back down t

First try on Fibresand and also his initial run for this yard having failed to score this year when with Richard Hannon. Drops to this trip for the first time (most runs at 1m) with the sire having a modest record with his progeny here; limited appea

Scored on Fibresand on three occasions with the latest of those wins coming in May when she capitalised on a drop in grade to score over 1m. Recent tries on this surface and over this trip have fallen well short of what would be required to win this.

Cut little ice on her most recent start here over 7f having previously been placed at this venue on four occasions. Still a maiden and has tended to make hard work of things; would need to bounce back from that last run to have any sort of chance.

The long losing sequence is off putting stretching as it does back to August last year when with a former yard. Tumbled down the weights because of that factor but there have been signs of late the pain could end; form here is moderate though.

Winner here over 1m under today's rider with the majority of his best form around that trip, certainly back on the up last time returned to 1m after a below-par effort. Should give his running but the 6f trip is a worry against some speedier types.

Modest maiden who has made little impact since being switched to handicaps; always behind when last seen at Catterick over 6f. This will be her first try on Fibresand; takes a considerable leap of faith to support on this occasion.

6f winner at Catterick in September benefitting from having slipped below last winning mark. Form since then on turf/AW has been a rather mixed bag; three previous attempts here don't really give that much confidence he can return to winning ways.

Less exposed than many in this field and didn't shape too badly on Fibresand debut over 5f last time off a 2lb higher mark. Now dropped to a career-low mark and up to 6f she may well be one of the more inviting options in this low-grade affair.

C&D winner who has generally been consistent in his visits here although that one victory did come back in 2015 off a mark of 75. Hard to think he's capable of anything approaching that level these days but ought to appreciate a return to 6f.

Stacking up a fair losing sequence (currently stands at 15) but by the same token has on occasions produced a reasonable performance in defeat. Not one to totally rely on this will be his Fibresand debut; chance if handling the surface.

A winner this year (unlike many of these) with her one success coming off a basement mark (45) over 5f at Musselburgh. Neither attempt on this surface would have you rushing to support her and therefore hard to make a sound case for.

Forecasts

Fiery Breath (4/1), Fair Alibi (4/1), Letmestopyouthere (5/1), Caribbean Spring (7/1), Global Melody (11/1), Vallarta (14/1), Carlovian (14/1), Inner Charm (14/1), Just An Idea (16/1), Tease Maid (20/1), Letsbe Avenue (20/1), Mama Africa (33/1), Little Miss Muffin (50/1), Thornaby Princess (66/1)

Verdict

An assorted bag of chances for this field with four newcomers to the surface the best of which looks to be Fiery Breath although he will need a good pace to run at and coming from off the pace is difficult for newcomers here with the kickback. Letmestopyouthere is given a very good opportunity to put a halt to his long losing sequence especially with the excellent Brodie Hampson on board, he just failed to hold on last time at Chelmsford with that form being franked by the winner. Caribbean Spring has some good form to his name but this 6f looks on the sharp side so the vote goes to the so far relatively unexposed INNER CHARM who should have some progress in her at a more suitable 6f.
  1. Inner Charm
  2. Letmestopyouthere
  3. Fiery Breath
