Already taken three races this year two of them on the AW (Tapeta) over 5f; took a step back in the right direction on Tapeta last time coming from off the pace. Makes his Fibresand debut (sire only an average record on the surface); back up to 6f.
Appears to have improved for a wind op and being positively ridden coping with Fibresand on his only previous experience here, all those runs over 5f. This represents a slight drop in class but there has to be a doubt over the 6f trip.
Twice a 6f winner on turf this year on varying ground she was easy to back and considerately handled returning from a break at Newcastle last time (6f). Yet to experience Fibresand but from a yard that knows the time of day here; much respected.
Blinkers go on for the first time having failed to build on the promise of his previous run (four months previously) at Yarmouth last time (1m, heavy). Would have a chance at the weights but has to prove himself on Fibresand and over 6f.
Three-time winner for a former yard he looks to have rather lost his way of late and now starts out for a new stable under a cloud. Is a dual C&D winner but would need to be rejuvenated by the move to get involved.
Long-term Flat maiden (0-13) who has also failed to win a race over hurdles and achieved very little when last seen on the level over 5f in a Wolverhampton seller. Makes little appeal at the weights and on this surface.
Won a C&D claimer here earlier in the year when well supported with things going a lot more smoothly than on his previous outing (also well backed). Failed to match that level of form in two C&D handicaps since; hard to catch right but capable.
Three-time winner on the turf but hasn't won since 2016 in any sphere with his Fibresand form looking exceedingly threadbare (0-14). Hard to give a chance to at these weights and others hold far better chances.
Forecasts
Awsaaf (9/4), The Right Choice (7/2), Kyllachy Warrior (7/2), Robsdelight (5/1), Bedtime Bella (6/1), Falcao (20/1), Robbian (50/1), Lope De Loop (100/1)
Two of the leading players need to prove their worth on this surface with Awsaaf who ran well from a poor position last time being one of that duo. In this instance though BEDTIME BELLA is preferred, she looked to need the run last time and her earlier turf form puts her in with a real chance especially as her connections usually know what’s required on this surface. Kyllachy Warrior looks an improved performer of late but has to prove himself at this 6f trip while The Right Choice needs a change of stable to rejuvenate him. Falcao isn’t an easy one to catch right but on his day is capable of having a say in this.
- Bedtime Bella
- Awsaaf
- Falcao
