Gradually moving the right way in novice events as he has stepped up in trip. Handicap debut now with first-time hood added and extra furlong may again help the cause. Worth a market check.

Third in 7f Newbury event on second start and ran better than finishing position indicates when very close seventh after a slow start in Wolverhampton 7f nursery. Extra furlong worth a try and has a chance if jumping off on terms.

Mixed messages from first two starts earlier in term but has ability. Returned following 107-day break when good second here over 7f last time and doesn't look overburdened n handicap bow for yard that won this in 2016.

Beaten just a nose here over 7f in August, then again just missed out over same C&D in October. Disappointed last time when favourite at Chelmsford but back here and with extra furlong to travel looks a player on handcap debut.

Solid placed form at Ayr and Epson earlier in term but not at best last time at Chepstow. Extra furlong may help and top yard remains in good form (28% strike rate) so has to enter calculations.

160,000 guineas Nathaniel filly didn't show much on first two outings but improved following break to finish close fourth here three weks ago over 7f. First run in a handicap and mile will suit so one for the shortlist.

Not disgraced in 6f nurseries last two starts but has a bit to prove stepping up to a mile for the first time. Yard having a quiet spell and others are preferred.

Nothing to write home in three starts to date but may do better now up in trip and tackling a handicap for the first time. Could be one though for next season over middle distances unless market hints otherwise.

Second on both previous visits here over 6f in August then again last month over a mile in the first-time visor. Raised 2lb but seems to like this track and has each-way claims.

Yet to reach a place in four starts so far between 5f-7f and far from certain that the extra furlong will bring about a change in fortune. Last of 11 in Redcar seller last time.

Stable companion of Bowling Russian. Long last on first two starts over 6f this summer, then managed to beat one home last time when tailed off here over 7f. Hard to fancy from 8lb out of the handicap.

Verdict

A typically trappy nursery handciap in which slight preference is for LYRICIST VOICE who has gone close on both previous attempts at this venue and who may be helped by the application of the tongue-tie. Summeronsevenhills bolted up over two furlongs further at Chelmsford recently and another good dispaly looks on the cards, while Fantasy Believer and Magic Twist both represent good yards and are respected. Others in with a shout include Red Jasper and Tiritomba, and Can't Stop Now is also worth a second glance.
