Finished a good 5L second in a seller over an extended 1m4f at Musselburgh (soft) on his penultimate start. Disappointed off a mark of 85 at Catterick (1m4f, heavy) subsequently and is an interesting runner down in trip and grade.
Nine time winner including in a similar race to this over C&D in May. Registered a decent effort in finishing fifth under this apprentice jockey in a C&D handicap on his most recent outing and is one to note in this contest.
Seven race maiden has struggled in three starts since joining this stable. Drops in grade here but is probably best watched with cheekpieces tried for the first time.
Returned from a break and a gelding operation with a head second in a 1m4f handicap here recently. Step up in trip appeared to suit that day and he is a notable runner down in distance with a visor tried for the first time.
Ran well when finishing runner-up in a heavy ground 1m2f seller at Redcar early last month. Worth a check in the market having run well at this venue in the past.
Signs of ability on two most recent starts including when 5L sixth on handicap debut at Newmarket (1m, heavy) at the start of this month. Step up in trip looks likely to suit.
Placed five times from eight career starts and finished a decent fourth in a handicap over this C&D in August. Given a break since and interesting to see how he performs on his return.
C&D winner has reigstered six victories most recently at Catterick (1m4f, soft) in August. Finished third on two of his three subsequent starts including over the same C&D last time out. Likely more needed dropping in trip.
Well held fifth in a 1m2f selling race at Chelmsford when making her debut three weeks ago. Probably best watched at present.
Five time winner on Southwell's fibresand surface including over 1m last month. Step up in trip a concern on just her third start at this venue.
Well beaten on first start for this yard in a 7f event at Chelmsford last month. Plenty to find on ratings and probably best watched with cheekpieces tried for the first time.

Scofflaw (3/1), First Flight (3/1), Guandi (4/1), Little India (13/2), Indomeneo (8/1), Itsakindamagic (8/1), Tamleek (10/1), Profound (16/1), Bond Angel (16/1), Shattering (16/1), Miss M (20/1), Tiffindell (66/1), Opera Kiss (100/1)
GUANDI is less exposed than most of his rivals and he is taken to break his maiden in this claiming contest with a visor tried for the first time. The selection recorded a career best effort on his first start here last time out and he can see off his rivals here with Tamleek, a good second on his penultimate start capable of chasing him home ahead of Scofflaw who was the winner of a similar race to this here in the spring.
- Guandi
- Tamleek
- Scofflaw
