Useful chaser who can have her last run ignored (badly hampered); now back over hurdles off the same mark she was last successful off over fences when beating two rivals at Wincanton. Should give a reasonable account of herself without winning.

12/1
Inevitable return to hurdling after failing to complete on her last four starts over fences although she would have needed the run when pulled up last time. Hard to deliver a sound case for her here with that cloud hanging over her; best watched.

Oscar Rose30
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-8| J: C Brace(3)| T: F O'Brien| OR:  125
7/2
Consistent hurdler; took advantage of an easing mark to win for just the second time over hurdles returning to action after six months off last time at Southwell. Won with little to spare; ought to handle the 7lb rise; stable remain in rude health.

Form had a rather uneven profile to it last season despite a chase win at Bangor in December (weak race off 125). Sprang a 40-1 surprise on her return from six months off at Aintree over hurdles (off 5lb lower); still nicely weighted on chase form.

Looked an improved performer last year when winning three consecutive mares' handicap chases but has failed to live up to that form in two starts since. Pulled up last time (fences); she's off a lower mark returned to hurdles, still has a stiff task.

Sixty's Belle14
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-6| J: Benjamin Poste| T: T Symonds| OR:  123
11/1
Built on the promise of a previous run to get off the mark over hurdles at Newton Abbot (2m6f); last run for Alan King, relished the stamina test. Well beaten on her first run for this yard (cost £42,000); raced freely/poorly placed; more needed.

Yeats Babyp,t15
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: Page Fuller(3)| T: Miss Z C Davison| OR:  122| D

Big improver for Emmett Mullins last year winning three out of four in GB at up to 3m. Joined her current yard for £14,000 but offered little when sent chasing first time out (pulled up) with this headgear combination worn; back over hurdles.

Up 2lb from her last winning mark which she defied at Plumpton last time under a well-judged ride (stole a march at a crucial stage). This trip will test her stamina but can't be written off with her last piece of form having already been franked.

Jubilympics32
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-4| J: Adam Wedge| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR:  121| BF
7/2
Two placed efforts for this new yard have already shown her in a good light and she's looks the sort who could come good soon. Caught a little wide at Exeter over 2m7f last time she's been nudged up 2lb for that third but remains on a fair mark.

Rosy World14
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: Ben Godfrey(7)| T: Miss S Smith| OR:  118
7/2
Improved to get off the mark over hurdles on her handicap debut at Plumpton in March she's shown since that she can cope with marks such as this. Two placed efforts this season show her in good form; may not have quite stayed 3m last time.

Coillte Eile124
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-10| J: Cillin Leonard(7)| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR:  113| D
10/1
Improved (as most do) for a move to this yard winning on her second start for the yard at Aintree. Disappointed when last seen at Cartmel in the summer but remains unexposed; should figure off a light weight with a positive jockey booking.

Forecasts

Oscar Rose (7/2), Rosy World (7/2), Jubilympics (7/2), Coillte Eile (10/1), Shambra (10/1), Sixty's Belle (11/1), Drinks Interval (12/1), Same Circus (14/1), Molly Childers (16/1), Marienstar (40/1), Yeats Baby (66/1)

Verdict

It’s hard to ignore anything from Fergal O’Brien’s stable at the moment with the yard still firing in the winners and the consistent Oscar Rose was one of them at Southwell where she took advantage of a reduced mark. This will prove a more difficult task though and the positive start that JUBILYMPICS has made for the Emma Lavelle team can’t be ignored, she looked a little unfortunate at Exeter last time and could well make amends here. Shambra had Rosy World behind her when that pair were first and third at Plumpton recently and both should fare well again. The biggest danger may come from the unexposed Coillte Elle, Cillin Leonard is an eye-catching booking for a much respected yard.
