Not won in over two years but has placed a couple of times since, including flattering 14L second at Kelso (2m1f) last time out. Place claims on this ground but top weight is a concern.
Losing streak dates back to summer of 2017 and very rarely threatened to end that since. Latest 50L eighth at Sedgefield (2m5f) leaves a lot to be desired on form.
Last seven runs have come at Market Rasen but usually flatters to deceive. Did the same when fourth there (2m3f) last time out and while on a good mark, his win record is a negative.
18-race maiden who usually places but has looked off the boil in last two starts, pulling up at Carlisle before inauspicious return at that track (2m4f) earlier this month. Best watched on current form.
Winner at Cartmel during the summer but floundered since. returned with 34L seventh at Musselburgh (2m) earlier this month and while back on winning mark, others make more appeal.
Hexham winner in May but well-beaten at that venue the last twice, including 33L defeat over 2m4f there in early October. Down 3lb but veteran has a bit to prove now.
Showed very little on the track to date for both yards he has represented and didn't improve when pulling up at Uttoxeter (2m4f) at the start of the month. Risky proposition.
4lb below last winning mark but age looks to have caught up with him on current form. Returned from break when tenth of twelve at Sedgefield and opposable on that form.
Poor record over fences. Wasn't beaten far into third at Cartmel in may before distant fourth back at that track (2m5f) a month later. Makes seasonal reappearance but holds place claims in this company.
Hasn't won in a long time but running with encouragement this season, including when only beaten 6L at Musselburgh (2m) last time out. Well beaten on all starts at this distance though, which is a concern.
Fell when sent off odds-on for stable debut last month but followed that up with poor display at Uttoxeter (3m) on latest start. Mark has fallen again and if any yard can rejuvenate a horse it's this one.
Made his chase debut when well-beaten fourth at Plumpton but followed that up with encouraging second over extended 2m3f at that track in October. Has had wind surgery since and looks dangerous on handicap bow.
Forecasts
Moores Novelty (11/4), Enforcement (4/1), Paddling (6/1), Honourmission (8/1), Dallas Cowboy (9/1), Stormbay Bomber (9/1), Jeu De Mots (10/1), Burning Issues (12/1), Chain Of Beacons (16/1), No Such Number (20/1), Along Came Theo (33/1), Reverse The Charge (50/1)
ENFORCEMENT put up a fine second chasing start at Plumpton in October when not beaten far and sneaks in at the bottom of the weights for this. His light weight suggests his mark is lenient for this level and there is every chance the wind operation could irk out more improvement in him. Paddling has proven to be a frustrating sort but can run moderately and is an unknown prospect on his seasonal debut, while this race could be a chance for Moores Novelty to put things in the right direction for an expert trainer in what looks a poor race.
