Scored in a bumper on his debut at Ffos Las (2m) in April 2018. Switched yards back in April and he did not fare too badly over hurdles last time at Exeter (2m1f) as he was fourth of 14. Open to improvement still so is worth consideration.
Is still a maiden after four runs but she did produce her best performance yet last time at this course (2m) when she was second of eight after going off as the 11/8 favourite. Stepping up in trip now. Has since had a wind-op. One for the shortlist.
Broke his maiden under Rules at the eighth attempt on his latest start at Huntingdon (2m) in an 11 runner field on what was his first run since wind surgery. Has gone up 5lb for that success. One to consider.
Dual-purpose gelding who was running well without success over hurdles earlier this year. He was third of seven on his last appearance over hurdles at Worcester (2m7f). Remains off a very winnable mark. Big player.
Prevailed for the third time in his career over hurdles on his penultimate start at Cartmel (2m6f) where he stayed on well in the closing stages. Was well beaten on his latest outing at Perth (2m4f). Needs to bounce back.
Remains a maiden after nine starts. Has failed to finish on his last three runs, including last time at Wincanton (2m5½f) when he fell at the final hurdle. Has to be respected from this mark but needs to jump better.
Prevailed on his debut in a bumper at Towcester (1m7½f) where he was successful by a nose. Has struggled to follow that up since. He was eighth of 16 on his latest attempt at Wincanton (2m5½f). Has been eased 3lb. Needs to improve.
Was a winner at Chepstow (2m) on his opening start over hurdles back in November 2017. His form since then has progressively got worse. Could only finish 11th of 14 last time at Exeter (2m7f). Down 4lb but others appeal more.
Won a novice hurdle at Exeter (2m2½f) very early in her career but has been unable to add to her tally since that victory. She made her opening start for her new yard on her latest outing at Hereford (2m) where she was sixth of 11. Can't discount.
Has yet to score in six attempts. He made his handicap debut at this course last time over 2m7½f where he was 10th of 16. The handicapper has eased him 5lb and he is down in distance now. Not one that leaps off the page.
Remains a maiden after eight appearances under Rules. He was always at the rear end of the field last time at Ascot (2m3½f) before pulling up two out. Is down 5lb in the weights. Others preferred.
Yet to prevail in 10 starts. She was a long way down the field at this track over 2m on her latest attempt when she finished 10th of 17. Down 3lb to a career low mark. Needs to produce much more to be in contention though.
Forecasts
Lock's Corner (2/1), Mick Manhattan (11/2), Waiheke (13/2), Granitic (15/2), Champagne Chaser (11/1), Mere Anarchy (12/1), Kestrel Valley (12/1), Fair Kate (14/1), Nessfield Blue (16/1), Megalodon (16/1), Colby (20/1), Marley Firth (25/1)
MERE ANARCHY is very capable of success from this mark over hurdles. He has hit the frame on a couple occasions already this year but this looks a good chance for him to add to his tally. Lock's Corner is unlikely to be too far behind on the evidence of his victory at Huntingdon where he was much better following wind surgery, while Fair Kate ran well here last time over a short trip to finish second and she can finish in the placings once again over this longer distance.
- Mere Anarchy
- Lock's Corner
- Fair Kate
