Won a beginners' chase last year at Downpatrick but largely struggled since. Beaten 18L into seventh of 16 over 2m6½f here latest so plenty of improvement needed.
Popular and game veteran again showed appreciation for this track by winning over 4m2f on the banks course back in May. Not getting any younger but hard horse to keep out of the frame.
Seven-time winner but not at his best when last seen in the summer and very much up against it at the weights here.
Versatile sort won three times over fences and seven times in all. Trip and ground fine for his first race over fences in more than a year.
Runs well at this course and last seen finishing second here over 2m4f in May. Not entirely convincing over 3m stamina wise and looks up against it today.
Over two years since his last win but relatively lightly raced in that time. Fair performance in a point-to-point latest but would need to be at his best to be competitive.
14-year-old hasn't won in over two years and as one of the lowest rated performers here he surely faces an insurmountable task.
Run well over these fences here in the past although he did take a tumble when last seen back in May. Capable of making the frame although would be better off if this was a handicap.
25-race maiden under Rules although recently won a point-to-point. Unseated last time over these fences and up against it on all known form.
Never competitive in six previous races but has joined the master in this sphere of racing so hopefully can show some promise here.
Uncompetitive in three races to date but starts out over these fences in the right hands so one to note for further down the line.
Maiden under Rules behind Like A Demon in a point-to-point latest and looks very much up against it here.
Unplaced maiden of four in point-to-points looks best watched in first race under Rules as one of four for Enda Bolger.
Has failed to finish in as many starts as the Robin Des Pres gelding has finished in six starts over the larger obstacles. Unlikely to be troubling the judge.
Maiden under Rules was a 25L second to Ballybroker Bridge here over 4m2f earlier in the year. No reason he can turn the tables.
Seven-time winner under Rules who jumped the cross-country fences at Cheltenham well enough in March. Fresh from point-to-point third latest and highly respected here in first start for top yard.
12-time winner including two Grade 1s is a fascinating recruit to this code. Stable debut was disappointing but is low mileage and master trainer rejuvenated similar types before with banks/cross-country racing.
Forecasts
Yanworth (5/6), Vyta Du Roc (5/1), Hurricane Darwin (8/1), Call It Magic (8/1), Ballyboker Bridge (11/1), Neverushacon (12/1), Alpha Male (33/1), Like A Demon (33/1), Ard Na Carraig (33/1), King's Song (50/1), Shannon Tide (50/1), Singing Banjo (50/1), Vital Island (66/1), Lough Gur (66/1), Enniskillen (66/1), Square Ball (66/1), Steelambition (100/1)
With doubts over his two most obvious rivals BALLYBROKER BRIDGE looks the safest bet here and the likable veteran's last performance here was a 25L demolition job over 4m2f in May. Yanworth could take very high rank in this sphere although his last run is a concern. Also well capable is Vyta Du Roc on his first start for Gordon Elliott.
- Ballyboker Bridge
