Former 86-rated handicapper for trainer Paul Cole the Mayson gelding made a fetching debut on this track when landing a 14-runner contest over 5f off a 7lb lower mark earlier this month. Another bold bid expected stepping up in trip.
Losing sequence is growing and recent efforts have been fairly laboured. Encouraging stable debut over 7f here last month but others appear to have stronger claims.
Six-time winner at the track the Elusive City gelding is a dual C&D victor. Ran well in defeat over the combination last month and has pace and draw positives coming into this contest.
Winner over C&D 12 months ago off a 1lb higher mark. Not disgraced over the summer and likely to give a good account of herself back here.
May have finished closer to Nigg Bay earlier this month when second of 14 beaten 1¼L over C&D. Jockey reported his mount hung right up the straight and can go well at a price here.
Has a win and three places on his record from seven starts over C&D and continued in good form here when finishing second of 13 beaten a neck over the combination last month. Rates a leading contender.
Out of form in a number of Flat starts on turf over the summer but the daughter of Lord Shanakill is two from three starts at the track and could rate a lively outsider here.
Four-race maiden. Ran well on debut at this venue finishing 3¼L down on La Derniere Fois over 7f late last month. In the right hands and a little early to be writing off just yet.
12-race maiden. Running well in defeat in the main over the summer without getting her head in front. Posted a career best last month finishing third of 13 beaten 1¾L over C&D and can be expected to run another big race.
Has hit the frame on three occasions from five starts over C&D. The Rock Of Gibraltar gelding could get to the lead from his draw and holds strong possibilities of staying on to grab a place.
Running with plenty of credit in a couple of starts at Navan over 5f before getting off the mark for connections at the seventh time of asking when landing a handicap over C&D late last month off a 6lb lower mark. Likely to be in the mix again.
Winner of two of his 23 starts on turf, produced best effort for sometime when finishing sixth of 14 on the AW at Dundalk last month. Looks up against it back on turf racing 31lb lower than last winning mark.
Eight-race maiden generally well held in a number of starts over the summer. Unlikely to be making a significant impact on AW debut.
