Bolted up by 18 lengths in this race last year in similarly testing ground on seasonal return. Bounced back from poor effort after to finish second at Fontwell in has big chance.

Sedgefied novice handicap hurdle scorer last March. Shaped with promise both chase starts this term and eased total of 4lb. Goes on soft ground so is interesting for jockey-trainer who won this in 2012.

Five-time winner for Gordon Elliott but has been woefully out of touch since joining present yard last term. Crashing down the weights but still hard to enthuse over.

14-race maiden who has looked a likely winner on a few occasion but hasn't found as much as expected. Has ability but well beaten both runs so far this campaign and will do well to break his duck on that evidence.

Hasn't shown much in four starts so far uner Rules and eased 3lb following fifth of 10 at Wincanton last month, which was a small step in the right direction. Others make more appeal though.

All three career wins have come at Taunton and doesn't seem as good away from there. Jumped poorly and pulled up before fifth at Huntingdon last week so has a lot to prove.

Grand old boy who's almost old enough to smoke! Eight-time winner but not successful for nearly two years and has shown little form last 12 months. 18lb out of the handicap so has a mountain to climb.

Forecast

Le Coeur Net (9/4), Flight To Milan (5/2), Hurricane Arcadio (3/1), Annie Bonny (9/2), Royal Act (10/1), Robin Des Mana (14/1), Spock (33/1)

Verdict

Although he's set to shoulder plenty of weight, last year's winner LE COEUR NET is fancied to follow up with similar underfoot conditions prevailing and having won in the past for a young conditional rider. Annie Bonny may prove his biggest danger, the mare having shaped as though she's coming to hand in two runs so far this term and she appears feasibly handicapped. The rest all have a lot to prove but Hurricane Arcadio is open to a little improvement, while the frustrating Flight To Milan will pop up and win one day - although it wil be a surprise if it's here.
