Shed maiden tag on stable debut on the beach at Laytown in September but well held in a number of runs since over 6f and 7f. Needs to step up recent form to play a part here.

Boasts a record of a win and a place from four starts over C&D. Last win came over the combination off a 4lb higher mark 12 months ago. Capable of bouncing back if in the mood.

11-race maiden posted a career best effort when running Mecca's Gift to 7L at Hamilton Park when last seen in July finishing second of 12 on his final start for trainer Karl Burke. More needed from dismal effort at Thurles on stable debut last month

Four-race maiden well down the field when never nearer in each of his career starts so far. Plenty to prove in this contest.

12-race maiden well held on the AW for trainer Richard Hannon in Britain and on first two starts for current connections on this surface earlier in the year. Faces a tough ask in this company.

Regressive 55-rated handicapper earlier in the summer for trainer Eve Johnson-Houghton. Not much to shout about in a couple of starts for new connections and hard to fancy.

Early promise in the summer appears to have leveled out somewhat in a number of dismal efforts on both turf and at this venue last month finishing well down the field over 1m2½f. Well below par form looks set to continue.

Nothing of note in four seasonal starts with the Tough As Nails filly beaten over 10L on each occasion. Last of 12 here in April and others make more appeal.

Without a win in nine dismal starts including an 18L reversal on debut here last year. Hasn't looked a winner in waiting in a couple of recent starts in October.

Verdict

FASHAAR can build on a C&D win late last month to win again off a 4lb higher mark. The six-year-old won for the third time at this venue when landing a 7f contest seven days ago and can get the better of Masalai who went down by ½L to the selection as the 5/2 beaten favourite. The pair could find stiff opposition in the shape of the Denis Coakley-trained Munfallet who has been dropped 1lb for a 1¾L defeat behind Lady In Lavender over C&D late last month. C&D winner Reverberation has hinted at a return to form while Craft Hugo deserves consideration if making the line-up.
