Has been in good form recently with two wins from his last three starts. His latest victory came in the Cesarewitch (2m2f) at Newmarket which featured 30 runners. Has gone up 7lb for that success. One to consider.
Broke her maiden on the Flat at Galway (1m4f) three runs ago. Was then second of 17 as she looked to follow up at Leopardstown (1m5f). Came home 20L behind Stratum last time in the Cesarewitch (2m2f). Has each-way claims.
Has a fantastic strike-rate since switching to the Flat as she has won three times in her four starts. She scored in a Listed race at Galway (1m4f) two runs ago, while last time she was seventh of 10 in a Listed contest at Bath (1m6f). Big player.
Produced the best run of her career last time when she scored by 8½L at the Curragh (2m). She stayed on very strongly after being held up in the early stages. Has been raised 13lb for that success. Leading contender to follow up.
Scored on the Flat for the first time on his penultimate start at Listowel (1m6f). Was disappointing on his latest outing at the Curragh (2m) as he was 13th of 18 after going off as the 4/1 favourite. Will wear a hood for the first time. Big player.
Returned to the Flat last time at Gowran Park (1m6f) following a an unsuccessful spell over hurdles and fences to finish ninth of 12. Cheekpieces are on for the first time and is down 2lb but will need to produce much more on his latest attempt.
Scored twice on the Flat in 2018 but has been well held on all three of his starts this year, including when he was eighth of 17 at Leopardstown (1m4f) on his latest effort. Others are preferred on the evidence of recent form.
Is on a long losing stretch which goes back to August 2016. Has yet to hit the frame this year across both codes. She finished fourth of 10 last time over hurdles at Galway (2m½f). Best to watch on her return to the Flat.
Prevailed at this course on his penultimate start over 1m2f in an 11 runner field. Went close to following up at Leopardstown (1m4f) as he was second of 17 last time out. Remains off the same mark. One for the shortlist.
Dual-purpose mare who prevailed in a big runner field at Galway (2m1f) back in July. She came home 10th of 30 in the Cesarewitch (2m2f) where she was 16½L behind Stratum. Taking a big step down in trip. Others are preferred.
Has finished second on both of his last two starts. His latest appearance came at the Curragh (2m) in an 18 runner contest. Has gone up just 2lb for his latest effort. This shorter trip is likely to suit him better. Has each-way claims.
Prevailed for the second time in his career when he scored at Listowel (1m7f) back in June. Was disappointing on his latest effort in the Irish Cesarewitch (2m) at the Curragh as he came home at the rear of 18 runners. Needs to bounce back.
A three-time winner on the AW but has yet to score on turf in three attempts. He was seventh of 13 last time at Dundalk (1m4f) on the AW after going off as the 7/4 favourite. Others are preferred on this surface.
Has not won on the Flat since scoring at Newbury (2m2f) in July 2017. Had just one horse behind him on his latest outing at Chelmsford (1m6f) on the AW in a six runner field. Set for his first run for his new yard here. Best to watch.
His sole success came at Killarney (1m6f) on just the second start of his career. Has not looked liked adding to his tally recently, including when he was sixth of 16 at Leopardstown (1m4f) on his last run. Needs to improve.
First Reserve. Has featured just twice this year. He was much better last time when he finished fourth of 17 at Leopardstown (1m4f). Remains off the same but will be stepping up in trip if he gets in. Can't be discounted.

ROYAL ILLUSION blew away the field last time at the Curragh (2m) and although the handicapper has raised him 13lb in the weights for that success, he can follow up with another victory here. Cesarewitch winner Stratum will have to concede weight all round but still should in the mix at the finish, while Halimi has been running well recently and can fill the placings off the same mark as his second place finish at Leopardstown last time.
- Royal Illusion
- Stratum
- Halimi
