Dual purpose performer who gained a fourth success over timber when winning at Hexham in June. Looks vulnerable from a handicapping perspective in this much deeper race.
Heavy ground winner at Newcastle in April 2018 but on a losing run since. Has run okay fresh without getting his head in front and returns 1lb below his last winning handicap mark.
Won a 14-runner handicap at Newbury in March having run with promise throughout most of last season. Pulled up as if amiss on reappearance at Chepstow though and has a career high mark to cope with.
Sole win in eight starts over hurdles came at Market Rasen on soft ground over a similar trip. Returns from a lengthy absence here and looked held by the handicapper when last seen.
Dual purpose performer who gained a first win since 2017 in handicap hurdle at Lingfield in February. Should be race fit for this after a recent spin on the Flat at Nottingham but hasn't always seen out this trip well.
Sole win in 17 starts came in a hurdles event in France in 2016. Showed nothing on UK/yard debut last time out and while he should strip fitter for that, the handicapper probably has him at present.
Won twice over fences last season but hasn't appreciated a return to hurdles in two starts so far this season. Handicapper trying to give him a chance but others make more appeal.
Gained a first win over hurdles on final start of last season when successful at Carlisle on heavy ground. Promising effort back at that venue on his return to action and may come on for the run; 3lb rise is fair.
Novice hurdle winner at Sedgefield in 2018 but well beaten in two hurdles starts in the spring. Dropped 1lb and unexposed but opposable on seasonal debut.
Won back-to-back races in 2017 but hasn't won since and pulled up when last seen at Southwell. Seemingly has his issues and others make more appeal.
Impressive when landing a bumper at Hexham last season and has run with promise in two efforts over hurdles. Fascinating contender if ready on his return on handicap debut.
Won back-to-back races on soft ground over fences last season and operates from his reduced hurdles mark. May have needed the run on return at Hexham and this is more his trip; interesting.
Only win since 2016 came in a impressive win at Ffos Las in February but handicapper had his say and has fitness to prove on his return to action here; others preferred.
Landed a selling hurdle at Hexham in May on his first start for 788 days. Makes debut for new yard here and finds himself on a workable handicap mark. Wears first-time tongue-tie.
Won a handicap hurdle at Sedgefield prior to two moderate efforts on the Flat. Up 11lb though and revised handicap mark demands more.

ROMEO BROWN produced a promising effort last time out and despite a rise in the weights, he could be the one to beat with the likelihood he will come on for that run. Eureu Du Boulay can race from his reduced hurdle mark and is another to consider while Mr Scrumpy is another threat if fully fit on handicap debut.
