Successful in two of his three runs, on the latter occasion winning narrowly over this distance on the AW at Wolverhampton. Bit more needed in a contest of this nature and has to prove he can handle ground with ease, but going the right way.
Has progressed with experience, although not seen since finishing in the ruck behind Arizona in the Coventry Stakes, where he was beaten less than 4L. Market should guide as to what's expected.
Profile is largely if not smoothly progressive, and he handles the mud well when winning a 6f nursery at Yarmouth ten days ago. Can win more races, but asking plenty of him to score in this field.
Knew his job when winning a 5f novice at Bath on his debut, but also posted a useful time in doing so. Should improve, and worth noting he had Jeanie B 4½L behind him in third there.
Winner on quick ground at Pontefract earlier this season but has also handled heavy ground. Ran to form when third to Raasel at Bath last time, but that merely exposes her limitations.

Raasel (6/5), Kuwait Direction (3/1), Last Surprise (7/2), Smokey Bear (4/1), Brad The Brief (9/2), Little Brown Trout (13/2), Jeanie B (14/1)
A market check is needed with the returning Kuwait Direction, who is hard to weigh up, but the vote goes to RAASEL, who had Jeanie B behind when winning well at Bath, and is open to improvement. Brad The Brief is unproven on the surface, but is another going the right way, and needs a second look.
