Given a considerate introduction on turf over 6f he went on to show a fair bit more leaving his debut form behind over 7f on the AW/Chelmsford last time. May do better still, in good hands to do so; yard have a 6-30 record here with 2yo's.
Half-brother to several winners from an all-conquering yard this year he made an unpromising start to his career in testing conditions at Redcar over 7f. Will be a surprise if he doesn't improve for the experience in time; bred to do better.
One of two newcomers in the field his yard have a 50% strike-rate with 2yo here (18-36) rising to 53% (8-15) with newcomers. Fifth foal, closely related to 2-y-o 6f winner Girl Friday, half-brother to 1m winner Glad Eye; worth noting for his debut.
The most experienced in the field and the pick of the two from his yard; makes his AW debut. Very similar form in all of his four runs proving consistent if not progressive; beaten favourite at Thirsk (7f, good) last time; sets the form standard.
Like many in the field just the one run to his name so far looking green when coming under pressure at Pontefract (6f, good) on debut in August (race looked a fair one). Should improve, makes AW debut; yard 0-24 with their 2yo's here though.
Makes some appeal on pedigree and showed some modest ability on his York debut (7f, firm) back in August despite finishing well held. Open to some progress making his AW debut although the yard have a modest record with juveniles here (3-40).
Well supported on his Redcar (7f, soft) debut he faced difficult conditions/draw and unsurprisingly failed to live up to expectations. Should be better suited by this surface although his speedy pedigree may see him more effective over shorter trips.
Yard 2-9 with juveniles here on the AW this daughter of Nathaniel (22% strike-rate on Newcastle Tapeta) comes into this off the back of a modest debut 7f start. Finished well held at Catterick; looks one for the longer term.
Up in trip from her 6f Carlisle debut where she finished last of 12 when a 40-1 chance showing only inexperience. Slow away there a small amount of progress should be expected but hard to see her getting too involved.
Once-raced 2yo from a yard that have had a torrid year (only one winner so far) and this daughter of Power made an unpromising start to her career over 6f at Wolverhampton. Can only be watched on her second try on Tapeta.
Yard 0-14 with 2yo newcomers since 2014; daughter of Fast Company, cost 4,500 guineas as a yearling. Quite stoutly bred, half-sister winner at up 1m4f Vanishing and 1m1f winner Vanish Soldier, dam unraced; unlikely to make much impact.

Not a race with an enormous amount of strength in depth with those having had a run not setting a particularly high standard although there are one or two improvers in the contest. Hello Baileys would be the choice on form so far but he doesn’t look particularly progressive and he’s passed over in favour of the Gosden newcomer GLAER. The trainer has a good record with his 2yo’s here particularly newcomers (2-3 this year) and this son of Siyouni is taken to add to that tally. Of the remainder Aberffraw makes the most appeal with Sports Reporter and Kumasi expected to show more than on their debuts.
