Made the perfect start to career with this stable when winning over 6f at Chelmsford in March. Gradually working his way back under fully-fledged riders of late running his best race for some while over 7f last time, still off a very workable mark.
Fair handicapper but the losing run is starting to mount although his C&D run last time is best ignored (missed break; hampered latter stages). All his three AW wins have come over C&D off higher marks, not written off with this rating to work with.
Winless in seven starts this year this will be his first try on the AW having caught the eye on turf recently when stepped up to this trip and further. Saw things out well over 1m2f last time; recent events suggest a first handicap win could be near.
Ran his best race this year over C&D when third in June but that performance stands out like a beacon in some otherwise moderate efforts. Not helped by the addition of headgear last two starts; undoubtedly has his quirks, makes limited appeal.
Produced a woeful performance at Southwell last time failing to build on a run that was better than the finishing position the time before over 7f here. Not won for over two years now, becoming increasingly difficult to trust for win purposes.
Managed to win at Southwell in April over 6f despite the trip looking far from the test he needed, competitive in a couple of subsequent starts over further. Returned from a four month break to catch the eye over 7f here; interesting now back at 1m.
A winner over C&D in July when given a chance by the handicapper off a 2lb lower mark he ran his best subsequent race over 7f here in a first-time visor. Not quite in the same form back on turf last time (in cheekpieces); return to Tapeta may help.
Yet to win a race despite being with two excellent yards and looks to be just going through the motions currently with her latest start at Chelmsford (1m2f) being a good example. Headgear returns; may take a lot more than that to see her with a win.
Consistent enough this year but has yet to win a race and his latest effort hardly suggested that a win would be just around the corner. Handicapper looks to have him in his grasp and not keen to let go; among those with a place chance at best.
Built on a fair run to score at Beverley in May over 7f with Termonator back in second (runner-up improved since) before producing some fair efforts off slightly higher marks. Ran poorly last time over 1m2f; yet to totally convince on synthetics.
Back to winning ways when making it 3-3 at the track including a win over this trip in August off 4lb lower. Two runs since have not shown him in a good light (made no impression at Chelmsford last time); return here needs to spark a revived effort.
0-4 here but caught the eye moving well over 1m4f at this venue last time although he's proven over much further. Appears a strange move to try him over 1m this time around; 0-10 at 1m and below, he'll surely be outpaced over this trip.
Getting towards three years since his sole win so despite two creditable recent efforts where he has bumped into less-exposed winners there must be doubts around his chance of ending his losing streak. Couldn't rule out him snatching a place.

Traveller (6/1), Swansdown (13/2), Carey Street (13/2), Melgate Majeure (7/1), Termonator (15/2), Najashee (10/1), Beverley Bullet (12/1), Gottardo (14/1), Newmarket Warrior (14/1), Molly Mai (14/1), Mrs Hoo (16/1), Imperial Focus (22/1), Global Exceed (25/1), Curfewed (33/1)
Another competitive handicap for backers to solve with TERMONATOR expected to show more this time around having caught the eye when finishing midfield over 7f here last time shaping better than the bare result and coming here still lightly-raced. Gottardo is another in line for a win soon having shaped well at Wolverhampton under Hollie Doyle who takes the ride again. Carey Street lacks any AW experience but may not be far away from gaining his first success having produced some solid turf efforts of late. C&D winners Newmarket Warrior, Beverley Bullet and Melgate Majeure are all respected along with Traveller who looks handily weighted on past form.
- Termonator
- Carey Street
- Gottardo
