Winner of four of her 24 career starts and although beaten on each occasion this season has been running with credit in a number of starts. More needed but not one to put a line through.
Posted a career best effort when landing a 1m2½f claiming contest at this venue on final start for trainer Ger Lyons last month. Requires plenty of respect on stable debut.
Sending mixed messages in a number of starts over the summer. C&D winner has finished third of 13 on three starts over combination since September and likely to be in the mix again.
Cost €105,000 at the November sales 12 months after showing plenty of promise in France last year. Best watched on track debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise.
Genuine sort who has hit the frame in four of his seven starts over C&D. Not in the best of form lately and needs to step up on those efforts here.
Sole success on the Flat came in a maiden at this venue over 7f back in 2016. Last of 10 at Laytown when last seen in September and others look more convincing.
Modest 77-rated handicapper for trainer John Ryan winner of two of his 18 career starts. Dismal stable debut here at this track over 1m2½f last month. Hard to recommend on current evidence.
Winner over C&D at odds of 33/1 last month beating eight rivals and Grandmaster Flash 1¼L off a 7lb lower mark. Should get competitive despite rise in the weights.
Winner of two of her 14 Flat starts on turf and looks to be up against it on first run at this venue. Should be noted if the subject of market interest.
Some headway inside final furlong, keeping on to finish a never threatening sixth of 13 beaten 6L on first start on this surface over 1m2½f. Others appear more persuasive.
Lightly raced maiden on the Flat without a win in five starts on the here. Ran well in defeat over C&D in September finishing third of 13 beaten 3L. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Forecasts
Nimitz (6/4), Act Of God (4/1), Major Reward (5/1), Sweet Dime (6/1), Itsalonglongroad (10/1), Hamley (14/1), Upgraded (16/1), Divine Approach (20/1), One In All In (25/1), Midnight Wilde (25/1), Room To Roam (25/1)
The 7lb rise for SWEET DIME may look a little lenient following her win over C&D last week. The Daughter of Toronado traveled all over the leader before moving to the front 2f out, going clear inside the final furlong to beat the eight runner field by a comfortable 1¼L. The solid and consistent Nimitz can once again produce another bold effort while top weight Hamley and Major Reward on debut for trainer Denis Hogan can compete for remaining prize money.
- Sweet Dime
- Nimitz
