Returns after 100-day break having failed in hat-trick bid at Wolverhampton in July off this mark. Previously won here at both 6f and 7f and may bounce back if fully refreshed.
Won on debut here over a mile in March 2018 but only four runs since and has obviously had issues. Ran poorly three starts this spring after long absence and has first start since recently being gelded. Eased 5lb but has plenty to prove.
Three-time AW winner for Joseph Tuite in 2018. Went hurdling showing ability for Dan Skelton this summer (without winning) and didn't show much back with original handler last time. 2lb lower here but others make more appeal.
Won over C&D in July then followed up on turf at Newbury. Probably found soft ground against him at Windsor latest but suspicion the handicapper may now just about have his measure.
Comfortably landed 7f Chelmsford novice in May. Faded final furlong over this trip on handicap bow at Newcastle in July and rested since then. Too early to write off and could bounce back here off 1lb lower.
Broke maiden on second start for this yard here in July over 6f off 1lb lower, then broke a poor run of form by going very close over C&D at 25/1 last time. Similar effort gives him a chance despite 2lb rise.
Bought after winning Beverley 7f claimer for Roger Fell in August but hasn't shown much at all in two starts since for current yard. Eased just 1lb following latest modest effort and woudl be a surprise winner on that evidence.
Signs of ability in three starts earlier this year then returned following four-month break to win on handicap bow over C&D a couple of weeks ago. Raised 5lb but looked value for possibly more than that so has fine chance of following up.
Showed good attitude when getting off the mark at the 11th time of asking in Epsom 7f handicap on penultimate start. Gave rider a tough time pulling very hard latest when never competitive and needs to settle better if he's going to get involved.
Rattled off an August hat-trick over 5f and 6f moving 17lb up the handicap in the process. Not got involved since then but back up to 7f and ran with credit on only previous try at the trip. More needed though.
C&D winner off 3lb lower in spring 2018 and struck again at Lingfield this July off same mark. Run poorly last two starts though and looks up against it. Tongue-tied for the first time.
Forecasts
Dawaaween (6/5), Daring Venture (7/2), Mendoza (7/1), Fortune And Glory (8/1), Soar Above (8/1), One Cool Daddy (14/1), Kendergarten Kop (25/1), Sirius Slew (25/1), Gilt Edge (50/1), Inner Circle (50/1), Surrey Blaze (66/1)
DAWAAWEEN is a confident choice. The daughter of Poet's Voice won in taking fashion on her handicap bow over C&D recently and a 5lb rise is unlikely to stop her if she is in the same mood. It's quite possible she has improved again as it was her first run for four months. Daring Venture is another filly who should run well and a recent rest from competition may have done her a power of good, and Mendoza, who went close here last time at big odds, could also be in the mix. Fortune And Glory and Soar Above are not out of it either.
