Second over fences at Ffos Las in July, but below form on penultimate start and similar story back over hurdles last time. Meeting weaker rivals here with yard in top form, though, so reasons to think she can stop the rot.
Won at Wincanton in December and runner-up twice in March for Ron Hodges, all in handicap hurdles at around 2m. Up in trip on quicker ground on debut for new yard now, but claims if matching previous efforts.
Won on the Flat at Chepstow (2¼m, good/firm) in the summer, but below form twice since, albeit in front of Grageelagh Girl when the pair were in the ruck at Exeter last time. Yard struggling for form at the moment.
Remains 11lb above his last winning mark due to creditable efforts at Market Rasen and Sedgefield since. Flopped at Newton Abbot last time, but had excuses, and should be on the premises.
Won three handicap hurdles over 2m in 2017, but his form in this sphere of late has been regressive, and he fared no better after a breathing operation at Ludlow last time. Cheekpieces replace blinkers her wore there.
Runner-up twice over fences in March, and similar form when third over hurdles at Market Rasen in May. Claims assuming he's ready to go after a break, and market check needed.
Had been frustrating as well as inconsistent, but made it 21st time lucky over hurdles with a clear-cut success at Wincanton last time. Well treated from revised mark, but needs to show she can back that up.
Second over fences in April, but that came in a very weak contest, and he has been beaten a long way on four subsequent starts.
Forecasts
Midnight Midge (15/8), Grageelagh Girl (9/2), Truckers Tangle (5/1), Realta Dawn (13/2), Ourmullion (8/1), Arty Campbell (10/1), Our Three Sons (11/1), Polo The Mumm (20/1)
Realta Dawn is the obvious one after her Wincanton win, but she's not particularly consistent, and preference is for tiop-weight GRAGEELAGH GIRL, who hasn't been at her best for a while, but tends to tackle stronger opposition than this and has finally been given a lifeline by the assessor. Ourmullion had excuses (struck into) at Newton Abbot last time, and would be a player if back to form.
- Grageelagh Girl
- Realta Dawn
- Ourmullion
