Never ran for Roger Varian (expensive purchase), sold cheaply to these connections who made the most of the opportunity winning on debut at Chelmsford (25-1, made all). Knew his job well, more to come if he handles this new surface.
The only 4yo in the field he's shown a little ability on both his recent starts although he did regress a little from his debut at Wolverhampton last time. Fibresand debut this time but would need far more to trouble the main players.
Big priced debutant at Wolverhampton where he showed some ability and the propensity to improve with time. May well be one for the longer term and of more interest once he has obtained a handicap mark; Fibresand debutant.
Made his debut last month in a small-field Beverley novice over 1m2f in testing conditions; no match for the favourite but did better than more experienced stablemate. More to come but drop in trip/Fibresand debut leaves question marks.
Not much to show for his debut effort at Windsor over a longer trip (1m3f) recently looking very green. Went with little fluency, plenty to prove back in trip and on a very different surface.
Ex-Irish sort (was with John Oxx) who has shown some ability for this yard although the better of his two runs came on turf rather than on Fibresand last time over this trip. Not disgraced but kickback looked a problems; best watched for now.
Hard to day that she looks anything other than limited on the evidence of three starts so far all in the early part of the year. Now returns having been given a fair break but would be a surprise winner in this company.
Improved to take second in first-time cheekpieces off the back of a break on just her second handicap start over C&D; did well in the circumstances (missed the break). Headgear retained although this looks more challenging; should get involved.
Could hardly have shown less on her 1m debut at Newmarket in the summer finishing last of 11 and beaten a long way out. Returns from an absence and a wind op; hard to see her getting involved.

It won’t be surprising to see one or two of these score around here in the future particularly Oblate who ran really well over C&D last time especially as she blew the start and if the cheekpieces continue to work she should pick up a handicap in the future. Cathedral Street looks the type to improve having shaped nicely on his debut although this will be a different test stepping back in trip and on Fibresand for the first time. HEALING POWER having cost 280,000 guineas as a yearling looks well bought by current connections for 17,000 guineas. He has a penalty to carry for his Chelmsford win but its hard to think he won’t improve again.
