Sole win in 20 starts came back in 2016. Well beaten last of 12 finishing tailed off over 1m6f at Gowran Park earlier this month and remains easy to oppose.
Last seen struggling over hurdles in a three-race campaign between February and May. Second of 13 beaten 2L over 1m4½f in a Tipperary maiden over 12 months ago remains his best Flat effort from four starts on the level.
Won for the third time in his career when landing a Clonmel 2m handicap on his seasonal start in April off a 1lb lower mark. Well held in a couple of dismal efforts since but still worth a market check.
Running well in defeat in his most recent starts on the Flat, including when finishing third of 14 beaten 4¾L at Gowran Park earlier this month. No forlorn hope here and deserves consideration.
Quick to build on debut run when off the mark at second attempt in 1m4f soft ground maiden at Listowel in September. The next pair home have both won since so needs respecting for handicap debut today.
Off the mark for connections at the 12th time of asking on her seventh Flat start on turf when landing a soft ground handicap over C&D last month off a 13lb lower mark. Beaten since when dropped to 7f. Place chances back up in trip.
Got her head in front at the fifth time of asking when landing a Navan 1m5f maiden on yielding to soft ground off a 6lb lower mark on Wednesday. Another bold bid likely.
Progressing with the each run. The daughter of Dark Angel can go close here with first-time blinkers likely to assist.
Useful 118-rated handicap hurdler the Lope De Vega gelding has hit the frame in four of her five starts on the Flat. Should be a leading contender in this company.
Rated 72 on the Flat without a win in career five starts including three defeats on turf. Went close over hurdles earlier in the month at Punchestown and needs to transfer that form to the Flat.
Winner of two of his 32 Flat starts on turf. Not disgraced since last win in a number of starts over the last 12 months. Has to be considered now back on a winning mark.
Probably flattered by her proximity in a 1½m maiden at Galway last month, and well beaten in a couple of desperate efforts at Cork and in a Navan handicap earlier this month.

The Fast Company gelding, HAPPY COMPANY has been running well in a number of starts over the last 12 months and looks to be setting himself up for a big run here back on a winning mark. The Noel Meade-trained Free Ranger and C&D winner Jazz Lady are capable of a bold bid while L'empathie finished ahead of Jazz Lady on her most recent start at Listowel last month. The Aidan O'Brien-trained King Pellinor would not surprise if returning to form in this contest.
- Happy Company
- Free Ranger
- L'empathie
