Not the easiest to weigh up with his win coming in a three-runner soft ground 5f affair that fell apart. Upped in trip to 6f when last seen he finished well beaten on handicap debut; return to this ground may be a plus, doubts about trip and mark.

Just out of the weights his best form came when runner-up on his second start in a Goodwood 5f seller. However, he's been found wanting in that grade twice since at 6f, now makes his handicap debut on ground he would be unfamiliar with.

There’s a real lack of soft/heavy ground form in this opening nursery so some guesswork needs to be involved. Visible Charm looks the tough and hardy sort that will be required here, he’s yet to run a bad race and does have some form in the prevailing conditions he more solid than most. SMOKEY BEAR brings the most progressive form into the race though seeking his hat-trick after carrying his penalty with some aplomb last time; he doesn’t look too harshly weighted for his handicap debut. Shammah is exposed but should run her race while Apollinaire and Wentworth Amigo could get involved if outcoming some negatives surrounding their chance.
