Thorough stayer who has made the frame in 5-9 hurdles, but has yet to win. New headgear combination tried here. Each-way player, unless he can raise his game.
Scored over 2m7f at Bangor (good to soft) in June. Would have claims if able to reproduce that effort from this 2lb higher mark, and can't rule that out after his latest effort at Sedgefield.
Dual winner (3m/3m1f on good/good to soft) in the spring, the latter when 6lb lower. Held in next time and pulled up on his reappearance at Huntingdon last week, so has a bit to prove now.
Arrives in good form, having won at Cartmel (2m6f, good to soft) in August, and Perth (3m, heavy) last time. Made all in both. Up 6lb for the latter, and has claims again.
Last two wins have been over fences, including here (3m2f, good) last December, when 1lb lower. Not seen over hurdles since March 2016. Others make more appeal.
Won a division of the maiden hurdle (2m, good) on this card two years ago. Fell next time and then was not seen until pulled up last December. Back to form here again in the spring (2m5f, good) and has claims over this longer trip.
Arrives seeking a protracted hat-trick, after winning back-to-back 3m hurdles at Wetherby two seasons ago, but not being seen since January 2018. Returns on same winning mark, so check market for confidence.
Another hat-trick seeker, although his two wins have both come in the past few weeks at Hexham (both 2m7½f) on good and soft. Up 6lb for the latter (career best) and in grade, so more needed.
Made the frame when 10lb higher at Newcastle (2m6f, good to soft) in January. Not as good as that since, but visor goes on here and is looking feasibly treated now if that helps.
Scored on good ground at Hexham (2m7½f) 11-months ago, when 2lb higher. Way below that form in recent starts, however, so plenty to prove at present.

Forecasts
Court Baloo (4/1), Chocolat Noir (4/1), Aptly Put (4/1), Pinspot (11/2), Lawtop Legend (7/1), Telson Barley (9/1), Final Fling (16/1), Handy Hollow (16/1), Temple Man (20/1), Alto Des Mottes (20/1), Calivigny (22/1)
There may be a bit more to come from Pinspot from this mark, if a change of headgear helps, while hat-trick seekers Court Baloo and Final Fling can probably be taken on for one reason or another. Chocolat Noir should ensure a good test, and is far from discounted, but that could set things up for TEMPLE MAN, who is lightly-raced, has course winning form, and looks as though this trip will suit. Handy Hollow and Aptly Put are not ruled out.
- Temple Man
- Chocolat Noir
- Handy Hollow
