C&D winner in January 2016 for Victor Dartnall but hasn't seen action for over 1000 days. More than likely to be better for this first run back on debut for top jumps yard, unless market suggests otherwise.

18-race maiden but has gone close a couple of times this term at up to 1m2f. Has form on AW, including in native Ireland, and looks fairly handicapped on a surface that should suit.

Eight-race maiden who failed to see out this trip on turf in past but has given impression he should stay on this surface having been campaigned of late at around a mile. Not without a chance.

Landed back-to-back 1m2f handicap at Chelmsford this summer and has run well enough over 1m4f in two subsequent runs off higher marks. Drop back looks the right move and should be on the premises. Yard in decent nick.

1m2f handicap winner for Harry Dunlop in 2018 but failed to thrive in Ireland earlier this year. Won on debut for current yard here over extended mile in September but hasn't built on that in two runs since. More needed.

Dual C&D winner in past but hasn't been in good form in recent starts. Despite getting help from the handicapper he appears to have plenty on his plate on latest evidence. First run since wind op.

Twice missed out at Bath this season by just a short-head and run well last two starts on AW without success. Drops back in trip here but strong pace may suit and he looks a player.

Seems better on turf than AW and all three wins have come at Yarmouth. Underwent wind surgery this summer but hasn't returned in form in three starts since. Hard to enthuse over.

Has winning form at up to 1m2f but hasn't been at his best this year and has tumbled down the handicap. Not beaten far though recent starts so may appeal to each-way punters.

No joy since landed Newcastle mile handicap in September 2016. Fair fifth off 9lb higher at Haydock in July but last few runs have been very disappointing.

Slow away last time and never figured but has run with credit on other recent visits here. Has a squeak if able to put his best foot forward but is an infrequent winner.

Landed modest Beverely 1m2f h'cap in August but hasn't backed that up in two runs since. Yet to reach a place in 10 AW starts so on balance has it all to do.

Verdict

GREENGAGE has yet to get his head in front after plenty of goes but in a very modest event might just be good enough. He can be forgiven a poor run last time on soft ground and on previous effort has decent claims. Red Gunner and Warning Light are both in fair form and should be thereabouts, as too should I Think So, for whom the extra furlong looks a plus. Veteran Edge may not be far away either.
