A half-sister to winners on the AW and from a yard that has held onto and and maintained a healthy return with it's runners this season. Wide draw at this course is far from ideal for one so inexperienced, though.

Bred to appreciate a sterner challenge that she'll face here and looks very much a long term prospect for her predominately jumps orientated yard.
A daughter of King George and Eclipse winner Nathaniel who made very little impact on debut at Newmarket last month. Big improvement needed this time up.

600,000 gns foal who is a half-sister to a 1m2f winner; her dam won over this trip as a juvenile and went on to win a Listed race over 1m2f in Ireland. Yard highly respected and this filly is recommended as one of the first to check in the betting.

Ninth on debut at Newmarket last month; a short-head in front of Folie D'Amour and there's obviously little to split those two on these terms. The betting will informative as to how much she's thrived since her introduction.

Never in contention on debut at Thirsk in May and has a lot to prove on her first start since; the step to 7f is also an unknown but feasible given that her dam is a half-sister to the classy Byron and Gallantry, who were both effective at 7f.
Related to a number of runners who have gone through the Fanshawe yard over time and she's likely to be placed to good effect as a result., This might be a fact finding mission; the betting can again help.

A daughter of Derby winner Sir Percy out of a Dansili mare who was placed over 1m on both the AW and turf; yard respected but not had many runners of late. Another who has plenty of winners in her pedigree; interesting if supported.

6/1
A daughter of Dansili out of a Sadler's Wells mare; she's a sister to Stipulate, who won a Listed race (1m1f) at Newmarket before winning at the same level and a similar trip in Australia; yard going well just now. One to bear in mind.

A stoutly-bred filly who should get at least a mile and a half in due course; might find things happening a little quicker than she might care for over this trip.

Debut run over C&D looks solid (the winner has gone in again since and the third home also won on her only subsequent start). Dangerous to underestimate with that experience to draw from; shortlisted.

Horse silk
10/1
Holes can be picked in each of her two previous starts and the filly needs a significant step forward; hard to envisage much improvement in a race that looks deeper in terms of potential than last time.

Horse silk
100/1
€150,000 yearling whose dam made little impact when she raced in France but she's a well related type who is an influence for middle distances. Hood applied for racecourse debut is a slight concern.

Verdict

The main body of the contenders lack previous racecourse experience so the betting will have to guide; INDIE ANGEL heads our shortlist as she represents a top yard (won this corresponding race last year) and has the right attributes from her pedigree to expect her to go close if she's fully wound up for her belated debut. Sorrel, on the other hand, showed a lot of promise on her introduction and is likely to be thereabouts if posting an improved effort. Lady Eleanor, Little Becky, and Narrate are others to closely monitor once the markets start to warm up in earnest.
